We came to Leeds for a night away and decided to book Fuji Hiro as we had heard so many great things about it. I booked the table over two weeks in advance. When we arrived, they had no recollection of the booking and I had to show them the booking confirmation email to prove that I had booked. With it being the eat out to help out scheme on we expected it to be busier than it might usually be and it was. There was only 1 member of staff taking orders and seating guests and another bringing out food. They were very understaffed and their anxiety and frustration reflected onto the diners. There was no social distancing in place and we were sat very close to two other couples within the restaurant. The food was brilliant however the service and feeling of being rushed let it down.

Love love love Fuji. Serves the best food in Leeds. Always welcoming, staff amazing, friendly, offer brilliant service. Menu caters for everyone with a wide selection of food. If you have not been try it out. If it's busy then book or use the takeaway service. Always come back here at least twice a month.

I went to Fuji Hiro for the first time in 6 years. Although the décor had change the high quality of the food is still there. I had my usual seafood ramen which is as good as it was years ago and my daughter had the chicken katsu don. It was so good that's going to be what I get next. I highly recommend Fuji Hiro to anyone especially if you haven't tried Japanese food before, it will give you a totally new experience. The environment is relaxed with a mix of people, from couples to small family groups. It isn't the cheapest of places, but because of the quality of the food and good portions it's certainly worth it.

Food and service were wonderful as always, I have been visiting Fuji Hiro for several years. Food gorgeously presented and a wonderful selection, and staff were great. However, under the present circumstances I was very worried during my meal about social distancing within the restaurant--the occupied table next to ours was not even 1m away and it felt very uncomfortable. I did book ahead so our visit wasn't something squeezed in unexpectedly. The staff are obviously trying their best and I understand it is difficult for restaurants to remain in business with lower footfall.

We booked in at Fuji Hiro during the Eat Out Help Out initiative. The restaurant was busy so I would recommend booking. We have starters, gyoza & yakatori and then sushi bento boxes. All of the food was fabulous and some of the best Japanese food I have eaten in The Uk. Sushi was beautifully presented and contained a wide variety of fish plus tempura, rice and salad. There is quite an extensive menu and we plan to return on a regular basis. To try other dishes. The restaurant is very reasonably priced for the quality of food served.

Love this restaurant- always great food and service It was the first restaurant we visited once lockdown restrictions eased! Highly recommended

Exceptional food and service. A real Italian café. With charming welcoming staff!

Exceptional cocktails delivered to perfection. Presentation was superb and a much needed addition to the Leeds cocktail scene, my new favourite cocktail bar in Leeds City Centre.

Was first vist, a treat from family as they know how much I like caribbean food. Service was poor, but the food was hot and tasty, the non alcoholic drinks were very enjoyable. Will be going again.

The best dining experience I have had from start to finish. Michelin star very much deserved. Food and art sublime!

Had a good birthday lunch at Reds in Leeds. All American grub and craft beer yum.

I booked a table last year it was our first time at Gaucho and I have to say what an amazing experience. The service was impeccable the staff were very friendly, the knowledge of the different cuts was excellent even the wine choice to go with the different cuts was exceptional. The ambiance was lovely. I am booking again for the 30th of May to celebrate my son's birthday we loved the restaurant that much. Thankyou to all staff for a wonderful first experience. See you all soon.
