Ploughman

This is a no s*!t eating experience, just great, simple food that I've been eating since it opened, eight years? and happy to recommend to anyone. Its good value, fresh ingredients, utilitarian approach beats the competition into a wok. I always leave feeling healthy and satiated. Unlike other noodle bars the menu is small and unfussy and the service is very friendly and they are happy to cater for kids. My daughter has been eating there since she was in the womb.

The best Chinese restaurant in Leeds by far. Everyone must experience this place!!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. I had never even heard of it before but after taking a look at the website thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I did. It is without a doubt the best Thai food I?e ever had. I mentioned that it was my boyfriend? birthday, and about 10 of the staff came out with small instruments and sang happy birthday to him. They also brought him a free dessert and us both a free drink. It was slightly more expensive than we would normally pay for a meal out, but was more than worth it. We will definitely be returning. If you're unsure about where to go I would definitely recommend here. Try it... I have no doubts that you'll be glad you did!!!

Food is good - particularly the ploughman's lunch - but it's very overpriced for what it is.

Quite possibly the best front-of-house team in Leeds. Friendly, helpful (particularly when suggesting cocktails) and entertaining, I cannot commend them enough. The terrace makes for the best al fresco experience in the city centre and the staff offering sun cream on hotter days is a great idea. Not the cheapest place, but then if I wanted cheap beer and cheap company, I'd go to Wetherspoons. Seems to be one of those places that you stumble upon initially, but return to again and again. Try a Sunday Roast on the terrace for a hangover cure.

I go here for noodles a lot. It is so cheap and the staff are very friendly and it's a no-frills, down-to-earth kind of place. Oh, and the noodles are very tasty!

It's about time wagamama came to Leeds! The food is really tasty and cooked with the freshest ingredients, the service is fast and friendly, and it's cheap too! It will definitely become a regular haunt of mine!

This place is excellent - No other tapas place has even come close. Get there early as it's always busy but the food is excellent so it's worth the wait. I go there on a regular basis and has not once disappointed!

I have had my birthday meal for 15 people at this restaurant last month and also been for a meal with 3 friends 2 months ago and on both occasions the food was lovely and the staff are some of the most friendly in leeds. Also the tables have enough space between them to be not feeling like your sat on top of other tables. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a great place to go for lunch if you are shopping in town. The food is a cut above usual bar food and you can sit outside in Millennium square. Not badly priced and plenty of variety on the menu.

We have just come back from spending a couple of days in Leeds and were recommended to visit Red Chillis for the best Chinese. We had been told that it must be good as her friend who was Chinese has said that it was the closest you could get to authentic Chinese food. I have to say it was very very good. The soup had a lovely flavour to it much better than other Chinese restaurants that I had visited before as there is never really much taste to it but this was delicious. We had the banquet that included the duck. Every course that came along was bursting with taste. It was probably the best Chinese I have had in a long time. I can thoroughly recommend anyone visiting Leeds looking for good Chinese food to visit here.

Me and my friends go to Nandos for every meal we go out for! We go like every week nearly and encourage people to go there! We love it because it isn't very expensive but the food is to die for! You get 2 sidelines on most meals which is a bonus! And the drinks and frozen yogurt are refillable! We love Nandos so much and recommend anyone to go! The chicken is gorgeous and you can have it in 5 different ways! Plain, Lemon and herb, medium, hot and extra hot! Anyway we recommend it!!

Decided to try this when the Garforth one was closed for refurbishments. We weren't disappointed - the food and service are just as good. I'm a particular fan of the rogan josh. Maybe not such a good atmosphere as the Garforth restaurant though.

Went in a group of six and were offered a "party" selection of tapas, but we decided to choose our own. Sangria was gorgeous, food was delicious, particularly the chicken salad in marie rose sauce. Music was a little loud, though - couldn't hear ourselves think! But I will definitely be back.

We used the restaurant for our wedding celebration meal, and they made sure we had a fantastic evening with our friends. Would recommend to anyone..

I dined at Bibis on Friday 30th June along with 3 friends and we had a main course each (as they were big portions) and a bottle of wine for £56.00 - We all enjoyed it very much, the atmosphere, staff and the whole evening there was fantastic - they should open a restaurant in Cardiff xx
