Lovely place. Has good quality fish and chips.

Visited 2/10/13. First time we had tried Turkish food or wine and both were delicious. It wasn't just the food. The restaurant was warm and welcoming, all the cutlery and glasses shone. Nothing was too much trouble for the charming staff who made us feel comfortable and at home. Shall definitely be returning . .

Went for the early bird menu on Saturday - great atmosphere, great food, great service. Will definitely be going again and hope to book Christmas works do there!

Went last Friday evening after 20 years abroad in S Africa and Oz. The food was as good as aver, the ambience was great, and the service superb. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy, we were given a table straight away and from then on, everything about the evening was thoroughly enjoyable. We'll be back again in the very near future.

I am writing this during my last visit here. The only reason I am here is because I didn't realise that the two-for-one morning coffee deal had ended! I use the Disabled facilities here and they re the filthiest I have ever come across. There is weeks of dirt and dust, often no paper, and it is, frankly disgusting having to use them. The young staff are disinterested. So ,much so that, when I came in this morning - being the only customer, I should add - the girl serving was chatting to her friend. She looked at me, turned away and continued chatting, totally ignoring me, My audacity at daring to say "Excuse me", was met with raised eyebrows and an exchange of looks between the two girls. Pardon me!! There is nothing much positive to say about the place. The food we have had - the fluffy jacket potatoes - has been delicious but a little sparse. Due to the dreadfully poor hygiene and disinterested service, I will now be going to Costa.

After a disastrous spell roundabout last Christmas, the pub is back to where it was when Mark was in charge. The steak and ale pie is as good as and better than most in the area. Give them another chance if you are one of those who were so badly let down after Mark left.

Go there occasionally for takeout sandwich as I work locally. Good food but was robbed last time of £6.70 for a ham salad sandwich and bacon/sausage sandwich. Captive work audience on their doorstep but way too pricey for takeout. Waitress didn't smile (never does). Rest of staff lovely though, and great decor and atmosphere if you're eating in.

not happy with sercvice waited for sour cream and cheese for tacos and told staff four times we had eaten meal before it had come everything we ordered at six pm there was none left not happy i think u owe me a case of wine not twenty quid off one

Visited with a group of nine and received excellent service - staff were attentive and food arrived quickly, plus an unexpected slice of birthday cake with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate powder. Delicious food and a great atmosphere.

I took my partner to Salute at Rothwell this afternoon for lunch. The service was excellent, but the filled baguettes we ordered came to our table 15 minutes after we placed our order, and were clearly under baked and doughy, to the extent that we were unable to eat them. When we drew the waitress' attention to this, she offered to have them replaced, but we were pushed for time and were unable to wait for a replacement. Our message back from the kitchen was 'sorry, but no refund'. In my view, our order shouldn't have left the kitchen in that condition, particularly as it took 15 minutes to prepare what were, in effect, sandwiches.. We will not be eating there again.

My partner and I went to Fazenda on 14th September 2013. The salad bar had lots of choice, hot and cold food. for the mail course there are 15 different cuts of meat on an evening, my partner sampled them all. The fillet steak and belly pork in honey was out of this world. Wine bit pricey but you would expect that in Leeds city centre. What I don't like is, for 2 of us there was a service charge of nearly £10 which I felt quite steep. Would definitely go again though.

Carvery has really gone down hill, used be be delicious and excellent value. Sadly after visiting today will not be going back. Only choice of 3 veg, carrots, cauliflower cheese or cabbage which was dried up and burnt round edges. Roast potatoes were rather anaemic looking and Yorkshire pudding wasn't cooked. Meat was very chewy.
