We used Raph's Lounge in Cottingham during December for lunch and evening meal. Each time the food and service was excellent. Place was a bit chilly - but well worth a visit.

We enjoyed an excellent New Year's Day meal at the tockets mill. Great quality food, cooked to high standards. Tables were set out lovely, and staff were very accommodating, polite, and courteous. Nothing was any trouble for them to help make your visit perfect. It was a complete and happy experience, well worth the price. Definitely booking again. Well worth a visit to be pampered and realy look after.

Went for the first time yesterday afternoon. For the lunchtime menu. Wow!! How have we not been here before?? Amazing food and excellent service. Couldn’t fault it at all. Can’t wait to have an excuse to go back there again.

Excellent as ever. We’ve been going to Maxis for over 40 years, from the original Leeds restaurant to York, and it never disappoints. We’ve eaten Chinese food all over the UK and abroad, and this is easily the best. The dim sum menu is outstanding and an absolute must. The staff are amazing, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely care. Highly recommended by our whole family and friends.

Lovely meal in a beautiful setting. The food at Tocketts Mill is always exceptional and the staff are friendly and very efficient. We ate in Chico’s and although it was very cold outside, the heating in there is so good that we were lovely and cosy.

We were slightly disappointed with our New Years Eve meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Although some areas needed a little TLC. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Sadly the service was very slow, even though it wasn't overly busy. The food when it arrived was very good. I can highly recommend the French Onion Soup. We ordered coffees which were forgotten, so we left without. Worth a visit if these problems are ironed out.
