Overpriced junk food.
Damons – Sheffieldwe were at THEO'S last weekend, and we had a brilliant time, it was packed, and had a short wait but we were told this as there's only the owner chef in the kitchen doing the cooking.
Aya Sophia Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine – Hebden BridgeI have been a customer for years and used to go every week in the good old days, but then it turned. Poor service and poor food. BUT good news it's back to it's original state good food good atmosphere and good staff, it's good to see some of the old faces i think Glynn and his missus have done a great job. great to see a local businessman putting it back on the map.
Rinaldis – WakefieldI have visited Tassili twice in the last month and have been amazed by the ambiente and quality of their food and service. Dining at Tassili makes you feel as if you are on holiday, the decor and accessories underpin the oriental flair. The service is perfect, staff are attentive yet not intrusive and the choice of different dishes is excellent and the food tastes superb. I particularly liked the option of ordering a starter as a slightly bigger portion - ideal for a late meal. I would highly recommend a visit.
Tassili – YorkThis is an excellent fish and chip shop. It has recently been awarded a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers. You can be confident about the quality of the food and service here.
Fish and Chips at 149 – BridlingtonHad Sunday lunch 26/6/11 and was a really nice, tasty meal - what a change! The staff were very friendly and I don't think anything would be too much trouble.Service good, we didn't feel like we had to rush out after our meal. Would definitely recommend!!
The Crooked Billet – TadcasterHad Sunday lunch 26/6/11 and was a really nice, tasty meal - what a change! The staff were very friendly and I don't think anything would be too much trouble.Service good, we didn't feel like we had to rush out after our meal. Would definitely recommend!!
The Crooked Billet – TadcasterI went there on Saturday night with 7 of my relatives and it was a truely awful experience. We waited an hour and a quarter for our starter and the chilli prawns didn't have any chilli on them, the food didn't arrive together and the order was incorrect. My chicken main course was raw in the middle and had to be returned much to the annoyance of the waitress, the orders for the main couses were wrong and the bill was incorrect and they tried to over charge us. Worse than the dreadful food (apart from the lovely potatoes) was the attitude of the staff who were incredibly rude, ignorant and aggressive.Don't waste your money!
Aya Sophia Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine – Hebden Bridgehad a meal on Saturday night and yet again it was excellent service is second to none food was fantastic puddings the best we have ever had we have been to the shorthorn a number of times now and never be disappointed
Shorthorn Inn – NorthallertonDefinitely the best curry in Wakefield. Staff very attentive and food is divine! large portions and very good quality. Would recommend the cheese and garlic naan - gorgeous, but lethal....
Red Chilli II – WakefieldWe enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch. Excellent quality - good value for money. Warm and friendly welcome and attentive service. Will definitely return.
The Shoulder of Mutton Inn – RichmondHas to be one of the very best places to eat in Leeds. Whilst low key it has a great reputation around the business quarter of Leeds. The food produced by the french chef is fantastic and changes daily, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and I can honestly not think of a bar in Leeds that can match the offering of The Old Steps.
Old Steps – Leeds City CentreEaten all over the world nowhere on earth compares 2 royal spice in Darton for quality, quantity and flavour atmosphere ambiance and good service provided by friendly staff.. Zaff is king of spice
Royal Spice, The – Barnsleyin the heart of the countryside, attached to a residential park, this is a little hidden gem. good food beautifully cooked with a good selection of wines for accompaniment, always busy so you'll need to book. Only open Friday and Saturday nights with wonderful fish and chip takeaway for Sunday lunch
Stables Restaurant – WetherbyMy wife and I, fatigued and hungry, were delighted to find a table at Theo's. We told the owner's wife we'd be ok waiting if we could just have some garlic bread first. We got this, but nothing else we had ordered, despite a wait of over 75 minutes, several enquiries, and despairing looks at the meals of people arriving long after us. As we gave up and were leaving, the owner obviously twigged that our order had not been placed, and said the bread was on the house. Not so madame, who demanded her £3.50, and harangued us loudly as being better suited to McD's. The food may be great if you can get it - we'll never know, but a place that treats customers like this needs a wide berth.
Aya Sophia Greek & Mediterranean Cuisine – Hebden Bridgewas there nice food
Lifeboat Fish and Chips – WithernseaFood is good quality and tasty. Excellent value for money. And a decent pint of Copper Dragon.
Kobe – HorsforthEating here was a delightful experience. Everything we were served was absolutely delicious. Others have remarked on the lack of a licence but, in my view, it's irrelevant, and would possibly detract from the authenticity of the experience. Call at a pub on your way home if it's an issue. If there's anything I would criticize, it's the less-than-positive impression created by the cheap cutlery. The only advice I have to offer is: go there.
