We live in Birmingham, and whilst visiting bradford we went and tried some food from Prashad (Vegetarian inidian food). The food was lovely and flavour some. We would recommend the platter, which has loads of different starters. The service was great, they came and greeted us and were very polite. Hope they bring a Prashad too Birmingham.

called in to Prashad today as i was in Leeds on business to get a take away after the rave reviews on Ramsey's channel 4 program. just got home after having the beautiful aroma wafting around the car for 21/2 hrs on the way home, only to find the poppadoms were absent! doh....

We had a fantastic meal in Romanos! the steak was out of this world!! the only criticisms are that the beer could be colder - and the starters aren't cheap! We are definitely going again soon. Yum yum Yum. Great atmosphere too :)

we went for our first meal to the beaumont arms today 5th october 2010 as the last time we went there was 1994. we found the portions to be more than average with a good choice of menu and at more than reasonable prices. we will certainly be giving our custom there again especially at Christmas as we can quite easily get to the pub without public transport.

I visited Prashad after watching Ramsays Best Restaurant and was impressed by the strong family values and passion which Prashad showed in abundance. I took my 4 year old son on a Sunday afternoon for. The restaurant was fully booked so I opted for a take out. In the takeaway part, there is building work been done at the moment. I got talking to 3 guys from Liverpool who had drove all the way over to Bradford to try the restaurant. Their review of Prashad had me drooling all the way back to Shadwell. When I eventually arrived home, I devoured the food and can't wait for my next visit to try more vegetarian dishes.

This is a wonderful eating experience. My husband is an ardent carnivore and he has been raving about this veggie curry house. The service matches the food too.

Only go to the Foxhouse Inn for their carvery if you enjoy eating overcooked, dried up, coarse, inedible beef. Where do they source it from? It was the very poorest quality. They might cook it each day, so they say, although we were not so sure. It could have been heated up from the previous day. Our knives would not cut it and it could not be chewed. Same with the Yorkshires. They were dried up and inedible. Trouble is; they put the carvery out hours before it is eaten and the food just sits under very hot lamps for a very long time. To make matters worse, the staff were in complete denial and even argued that we were misguided when we presented very politely our feedback. One of them was quite aggressive. It seems we should not have had the temerity to give them feedback. They were understaffed and overstretched. Tables did not get cleared promptly. There was no apology from the staff, just arrogance from them. All in all, a very mediocre standard.

The food was every bit as good as Gordon Ramsey said. We will recommend Prashad to all our friends and family. The mixed starter is a great introduction to Prashad's menu. The waiters were very helpful explaining dishes and flavours and were attentive throughout our dining experience.

Easily the best Indian food we have ever had , judged against restaurants up and down the UK over twenty plus years, and having been in Portugal for nearly a year now still the best, and looking forward to coming back to Prashad on our return.

We called in here to check out possible places neat the Kirkless Light Railway for a larger party of people for a birthday lunch. We were delighted to have chosen this place, it's very homely, very child friendly (our 2 year old son loved the boat in the garden) and the food was fantastic. The food arrived in a reasonable time, especially considering it's all home made - no evidence of frozen-microwave fodder here. The meals were very tasty and the portions plentiful. How they can maintain such a large choice and home cook everything is anyone's guess, but credit to them they pull it off somehow. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone, it's a friendly pub, well cared for, excellent food. I would suggest you go to eat here rather than pop in for a drink, you won't be disappointed. Very good food and lovely place - much improved restaurant than previous owners- have to point out that the service was immaculate - friendly ,funny and efficient waiters who are so quick and give you so much attention - excited for next visit.

We have dined at the La Rue several times over the past few years and have always enjoyed the food. Nearly every time we have been there, though, they have made a mistake with our bill. Usually it was an extra bottle of wine they tried to charge for but last night took the biscuit. Our party of 4 was presented with a bill for nearly £220 which included 8 starters and 8 main courses. The correct bill was around £110. When we asked, we were told that we had not been given the bill intended for another table - it was just a mistake. I recommend the food at La Rue but check every item on your bill if you decide to eat there.

£0.90 onion bahjis £1.00 mushroom bahjis superb flavour and plenty on the plate curry around £4.00 (3 free chapati's) spiced just right.. basic decor and they forget the cutlery sometimes but a 'must visit' place when in Bradford. 20 years of going and no food poisoning what a result

friends of mine told us that they don't respect Indian customers like English. we were thinking to go and visit the restaurant but friends of mine told us about the restaurant we change our mind

DO NOT GO!!!! hygiene standards are very poor, food is rubbish, service is terrible.

PRASHAD Bradford I could not tell you what we ate but that it was wonderful....taste, presentation, texture, service...all amazing. Definitely the best Indian Restaurant we have been to. We went as an extended family including 2 young children and would thoroughly recommend. We were all well looked after and shall go back. A must to book.

We visited Prashad last night and had a fantastic meal. The vegetarian food tasted great. I loved the variety - every dish had a unique flavour, not like the mass-produced curries we usually get served. We will definitely go back. Good luck to the Prashad in the Gordon Ramsay competitiion. I hope they win.

This restaurant is phenomenal, the menu is brilliant offering a wide range of food which suits everyone. The place is rather small but its very cosy and offers a wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant offers a great choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, my personal recommendation is the house white wine - it is affordable not to dry and wonderfully tantalizing. In all if your looking for a memorable night with the family then Gigi's is the place to go. *booking is recommended
