Java Indonesian Restaurant – Sowerby BridgeEllie Mae's has become our restaurant of choice in Bridlington. The staff are wonderfully helpful and the food plentiful and varied. My only criticism is, in common with so many other places these days, that the vegetables are badly cooked - raw and, in the case of roast potatoes, soft.
Ellie Maes – BridlingtonOnce seen, the food tasted, never to be forgotten, When ever I am near the location of the Cod & Lobster I just gravitate towards it's welcoming doors...the Boullibasse is to die for and my friends face was a treat to behold when she first encountered the ''Club Sandwich.!!the Jazz nights are great...the food superb...Well done to all the Chefs, restaurant staff and management team you make dinning out a pleasure...
Crab And Lobster Restaurant – YorkGreat food...well prepared, and friendly attentive service from the staff...a great evening, as usual.... Even if on this visit I had to empty my pre dinner operative over some ones table decoration that had caught fire !!!.... you'd have thought the people at the table would have noticed..!!!
Otterington Shorthorn Inn – NorthallertonSadly this once fine pub/restaurant has fallen on culinary sad times....It food can now at best be described as amateurish at the best ....food poorly cooked.... sauces would appear to be ''bisto'' based plus flavours ie ywo blackberries and a whiff of the cork from a port bottle oh and the veg nasty carrots where sour most likely reheated from Sunday lunch 2 days previously to say we where 'Severely disappointed would be an understatement.
The Shoulder of Mutton Inn – RichmondThe food is excellent you cant get any better than CROWNS!
Crowns Pizza and Spices – KeighleyI would not recommend this restaurant. I have given it three goes now, as it is a convenient meeting place with friends. The service is terrible, you are rushed in and rushed out, which is odd considering the times that we have visited there were only a couple of other tables occupied. The food arrives quickly.. not sure whether this is good or not.. but probably the latter as its low quality, poor tasting food, which you'll find is very much over priced. I had a couple of glasses of wine, and then a glass of tap water.. which 4 of us all thought tasted like it was tinged with kitchen cleaner detergent! If you are looking for a really great Thai restaurant and don't mind travelling. The best Thai that I have found in Yorkshire has to be in the small market town of Beverely, called Muang-Thai. Its genuine fresh Thai food at its best, its very small with only 60 covers or so to enable the chef to literally cook your meal to order. Its mouthwatering. I was sadly disappointed at Sangthai, especially having read so many good reviews in the past. Skip the disappointed and give it a miss.
Sangthai Restaurant – YorkVery good food at the right price. very friendly atmosphere, staff eager to please, compliments to the chef. If you are in the area you should try this venue. you wont be disappointed.

Barley Sheaf Hotel – BarnsleyThe best thing about Solo's is Talib Hussain, great chef.
Solos Tandoori Restaurant – HuddersfieldWe have been to the wappy many times, the food is always very good and consistent would recommend to one and all.
Wappy Spring Inn, The – HuddersfieldOutstanding value, service and menu. Zac and Diane are a perfect team making sure our evening was as fantastic as the setting, such a charming restaurant set in one of the most stunning villages in Yorkshire. Thank-you for a wonderful night.
Zachary’s At Fulneck – Pudseythe chicken bunna is so nice and tasty
Ali Raj Tandoori – HarrogateWe had a meal here on Sunday 7th June - Terrible, the food was only average, the staff were very noisy, laughing and screaming and joking all the time we were having our meal and the service was poor. After the meal I was actually physically sick in the night, my husband felt very queasy. We would definitely not go back or recommend to anyone.
Giannis – ScarboroughSimply the best Indian meal I've had, the owner appears to cook everything himself, to ensure it meets his exacting standards, and he likes to talk to his customers whenever possible. You may have to wait a little longer for your food, but it's well worth the wait!
Jamal’s – MiddlesbroughWhen I picked up my student daughter at the end of term, we came here for something to eat. Thought it was great! I had a mild lamb rogan josh and she had a king prawn korma. She loved hers, but I found it a little sweet. My meal was just delicious! The portions were good, but I wasn't left feeling stuffed. I loved the setting in the park. It was lovely to look out over trees. The atmosphere was nice. The waiter who took our order was pleasant and helpful but some of the other waiting staff were grumpy. The meal cost £20. They wouldn't accept my Scottish £20 note! It is legal tender, of course. Lucky I had a card with me.
Akmals Tandoori Bistro – Leeds City CentreLast week I visited the spice garden as one of my friends recommended it to me. My first thoughts was that just another average Indian restaurant, but WOW! The food was absolutely out of this world. Also the service was 5 star. The staff are very friendly and cater to your very needs. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Indian food. P.S Try out their Special Sizzlers.
