Very nice restaurant, the outside of the restaurant is a nice start as it looks lovely and the posh decor carries on inside the restaurant too.

Medici Restaurant – HullA very nice restaurant that was passed on to me by word of mouth. The couple that have it now have taken a lot of care with their interior and with the food. The restaurant is cosy, if you are dining for two, and child friendly if you are taking children. There is a relaxed ambiance about the place but at the same time they are efficient.
Dunkirk Inn – HuddersfieldMake no mistake about this, La Besi is a hidden jewel in the Leeds restaurant scene. I work very close to the restaurant and commute every week to Leeds. This is now the only restaurant that I would eat at regularly. The care taken over each serving is magnificent and the owner/manager is a fantastic chap. Extremely friendly and accommodating to one and all. If you're in Leeds, forget the flashy restaurants in the city centre and take the time to find this restaurant. You won't regret it.
La Besi Restaurant – Leeds City CentreThe pub at Starbottom is beautifully located, the menu good and the food well presented and delicious. However, our whole experience was ruined by disdain towards tourists, and un-spirited service that was grudgingly given, and in our case verged on rudeness. It is a real pity that this family run, cose y pub does not offer the warm welcome and cheerful service that could make it into a highlight.
Fox and Hounds – Skiptonlovely location in pot house hamlet, we went as a family for a day out and had cream teas for two. My wife and I then booked for an evening meal on saturday night which has jazz band playing, we really enjoyed it and are going to bring friends back. Plenty of free parking right outside the door!!
Rileys at the Potting Shed – BarnsleyI'm from Huddersfield and have heard about this place so booked a Friday night when there was live music in. It has a wonderful ambiance and great decor, the food was very good and they had a good selection of wines.
Rileys at the Potting Shed – BarnsleySuch a wonderful place to bring the family, not only can you visit The Potting Shed and have an excellent lunch my boyfriend had the Swiss burger with melted cheese bacon and mushrooms and I had a warm chicken and bacon salad, yummy. There are also other places to look at a womenswear, gift shop, cards and a garden centre. Brill place, I would highly recommend the place. Also lovely staff.
Rileys at the Potting Shed – BarnsleyMuch to my disappointment service was poor and the food only average compared to other Indian restaurants in Halifax. The waiters seemed reluctant to help more of a fast food type attitude.
Ziggys Spice House and Pizza Bar – HalifaxThis has to THE best around. The food is amazing. The Service is Outstanding. I am a regular at Rice. I have tried many others. But always come back to Rice. 5 Stars for Me.
Rice Restaurant – RoundhayAs a visitor to Bradford just on a theatre trip we wandered the town and found this backstreet restaurant. They had a £4.95 any pizza/pasta offer before 7pm so we gave it a go. Service was good, friendly and prompt but the positives ended there. The décor is how we seemed to think Italian restaurants should look in the 70’s. Fake stucco, roof tiles, vines etc. In fact it probably is the same décor this place had in the 70’s. The rear bar smells of damp and is covered with the red velour padded seating you find in Aberdeen Steakhouses. The menu had a good choice and we opted for a Tricolore Salad and a ‘Potato boat’ for starters. The Tricolore was a rather small portion of grey looking mozzarella and the hardest of inedible Avocado. The ‘Potato Boat’ was a slab of half an undercooked jacket potato covered in chopped salami and cheese. This reminded me of something a Mum would cook with their 4 year old to introduce them to fun cooking. We had pizzas for main. One with Salami (again) and Chillies and one with Green Peppers and Chillies. The bases looked like the chef had battered them into half moon shapes and when placed on round plates looked, well…silly. The topping was scarce and bland. Thank god they were £4.95 and not the £8.95 full price pizza available after 7pm We didn’t risk the rather unadventurous list of deserts. Maybe this is good for a Central Bradford Restaurant but it’s about the worst Italian meal I’ve had since…well 1970. If this is ‘New’ Giuseppe’s I would have hated to visit the old one. We did think at first that given this is down a side street it must be good to survive….how wrong we were.
New Giuseppes Restaurant – BradfordI have lived in the round foundry for nearly a year and I have just visited this restaurant....What a fantastic place. One of the best meals I have had in Leeds in the 3 years I have lived here.
The Foundry – Leeds City Centrefantastic place to eat, husband and i have been dining there for 10 years and have always been more then pleased with quality of food and service and we've now introduced our ever growing family we highly recommend.
Mustafas Restaurant – Hullone of the staff members were very unpleasent. He swore at a 15 year old because she got some prices mixed up
Wheatlands Farm Wacky Warehouse – RedcarVery Good
Manor Farm – DoncasterExcellent food when we paid the place a visit - and the owner himself delivered food to us after being let down by his delivery driver when we ordered take out - can't ask for better service!
Thai Sabai – HeadingleyHappy 1st birthday Thai Sabai! Offering more than simple 'Thai food', here standard dishes edge into cuisine, while there is a refreshingly wide range of exquisite meat, fish and vegetarian dishes. My meat-eating chef friend rates the weeping-tiger steak. I couldn't pick a vegetarian dish to recommend, they are all the best I've had this side of Thailand. The dishes are a cut above other 'bistro' Thais in Leeds. Equally the quality of food is very high without the formality and flamboyance of some Leeds Thai restaurants. Dishes are authentically Thai in taste and heat, but can be made milder (or hotter!) on request to the friendly, relaxed, but efficient staff! I have been coming here regularly since I discovered it in early 2007. Everyone I have recommended it to have made repeat visits. My vegan friends love it too. Thank you!
Thai Sabai – HeadingleyThought we'd try out this cosy Thai place in Headingley and discovered a gem! The man serving us was very helpful with making choices from the menu. The drinks were reasonably priced from a well stocked bar. The food is as good as any of the most expensive Thai restaurants in Leeds, but it is not served in half a pineapple or inside a coconut. You do often get an edible flower as garnish though! Authentic flavours and ingredients, fantastically prepared result in fresh and interesting menu choices. There is a fair amount of chili in use, but every dish I tasted was just the right level of heat. Supplemental chillis are available for those in the need. The sweets are also beautifully prepared, a light, luxurious experience. Finished off with a Thai rum - all excellent.
Thai Sabai – HeadingleyWe went on Saturday night at 8pm and were surprised to see loads of kids, some running around screaming. Once seated we had to request someone come and clean the floor around our table as there were 2 slices of pizza there. 20 minutes later this was cleaned away (sort of). Starter was ok. Main course spaghetti looked and tasted like it had come out of a tin. Once bill came we were rushed to pay and leave, as the table was needed for other people. Would not go again and would not recommend.
