We discovered the Sheesh Mahal one cold rainy night 3 years ago and what a find! We try and go at least once a week and have got to know most of the staff now. They greet you with a warm, friendly smile and you always feel like you are very special. What can I say about the food - supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!!! Dine at the Sheesh Mahal and I guarantee you won't be able to keep away. Its a Leeds treasure

Very good atmosphere. Staff attentive but very forgetful. Children? menu OK apart from someone? idea of an ice-cream sundae being a scoop of ice cream and a small bag of chocolate buttons. Salad inclusive with adult meal leaves a lot to the imagination, although a "house salad" can be purchased for £2.95 extra. Deserts were quite nice.

It is a brilliant pub, which welcomes everyone with open arms. The food is of high quality and the staff, are some of the best around. Most importantly it is a proper pub with real ale. really would recommend it.

Popular, modern and very welcoming- a great restaurant to dine at, whether it be for an exciting Saturday night out, or a quiet Tuesday tea-time. Particularly friendly waitress and waiter; only adding to the exceptional atmosphere! Highly recommended.

Wow, what an excellent place! I was introduced to this by my (non-veggie) boyfriend a couple of months ago and we have been back 3 times since! I am a vegan and the food here is absolutely divine! It just shows though that my (previously cautious of my veggie habbits) boyfiend is happy to keep going back, as he says 'its just really good food, whats not to like!' Service was also prompt and friendly and the candles created a lovely atmosphere, ask for a table by the window for a view of the river when booking!

Simply the best noodles I have ever tasted, in fact the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. What a lovely restaurant, brilliant service in lovely surroundings, what more can I say.

this restaurant/pub is your typical bar meals with a few alternatives! we live close to here and eat here on numerous occasions! never had a cause for complaint! 8 out of 10 i would recommend it but if you want outstanding look elsewhere, but this is your better than average bar meals and staff are really nice! give it a try!

Great little boozer in the heart of Meltham. The landlord's a character, and there's generally a good, lively atmosphere. There is also a taxi firm next door, so you can grab a cab if you have a few too many.

Fabulous restaurant. Food is phenomenal. Tried various dishes at this and Keighley location - never disappointed. Very reasonably priced too. Only wish they'd open a location in Alberta, Canada!

Visiting family back home on a recent trip from Australia, I was a little wary of "English" Thai food. However, was very pleasantly surprised by the very authentic flavours. The staff were very accommodating and put together a pad thai which was not on the menu. The ambience for a Monday night was excellent. Well worth trying.

How lucky am I to have the best Indian in South Leeds on my doorstep. It simply trounces other well known Indian restaurants I have been to, who I shall refrain from naming but we all know who they are! The staff are excellent, the food is amazing, try the chicken vensi it is soooooo good you will have it time and time again. The parking isn't brill but you can soon park on the roadside and walk up the tiny hill.

I went to the Kebabeesh for the first time on new years eve and i have never experienced so much quality in one restaurant. There was live music a special new years menu and then at the countdown to 2007 every one was given a glass of champagne and a large cake was cut for the celebration. I have to give credit to the owner Jay Durrani he is great to talk to and deserves a pat on his back.
