Maxis – Leeds City CentreThe Woodman Inn is located in a scenic location approx 5 miles from Holmfirth. It is an attractive building which serves a decent pint of Ale. Service is efficient as opposed to friendly. We have been visiting this Inn for the past 5 years but have rarely seen the bar person - mainly young local lads and lassies, possibly students or trainees. During the week the Inn seems full of sales reps and commercial travellers who prefer the Inns ambiance over the faceless Comfort Inns and Trusthouse Fortes. The bar meals downstairs are relatively tasty and fairly priced - good standard Inn fare in a pleasant setting. For a more special or romantic occasion the 3 Acres is the local favourite - but at twice the price. I would happily recommend the Woodman Inn for a quiet drink or a simple wholesome bar meal.
Woodman Inn – HuddersfieldThai cafe beats all the more expensive Thai restaurants in the city centre by a long shot, and is the closest thing to authentic Thai food that I've come across in the UK. Definitely my favourite place to eat in Leeds.
Jinos Thai Cafe – Headingleyyou lucky people in Yorkshire. in the midlands we have to suffer fish and chips cooked in vegetable oil, not in beef dripping like mother used to make. The service presentation taste in fact the whole experience was memorable. We now have family living near Wetherby so we will now be regulars and we are spreading the word. Samad Cottage Tandoori – SheffieldIt was my first visit to this restaurant and it was a very pleasant experience. The food was great as was the service. They don't have a drinks licence so they encourage you to pop over to the co-op and then they open your drinks and save them in the fridge for you during your meal, a nice touch and a cheaper way than paying inflated restaurant drinks bills.
Royal Spice – SettleFantastic all round. Went on a Saturday. Bit noisy from downstairs bar but to be expected on a Saturday night! Food Fantastic!
Latinos – BarnsleyI have eaten at ate o'clock now on several occasions, either as a couple or once with quite a large party and on every occasion the food has been superb. The prices for lunch and their early evening menu are incredibly low for the quality of food served, Having lived in London for 30 years it really makes a refreshing change. Service is very good and the head chef spends time talking to customers, without being in your face like some restaurants. Finally the wine list, while not too extensive is of good quality and very fairly priced. One of the best restaurants in York
Ate O Clock – YorkI always enjoy eating at Akhbars, the quality is always excellent and it is always very busy. It does tend to get very noisy though. As I was with some asian friends the waiter did give us the option of having it asian style, beware it involves lots of green chillies!

Stansfield Arms – BradfordWe have just returned from The Box Tree after our first meal there, which was the fixed price Sunday Lunch. The meal was flawless and the wine, although probably more expensive than we would normally have chosen, was worth every penny. The bill came to what you would expect to pay in any good restaurant, but "good" just does not describe our experience.

Aagrah Restaurant – WakefieldThe staff were very friendly and the landlord was welcoming. My friend had travelled from Lincoln and loved the food and hospitality. We feel a bed and breakfast facilities would be superb.
Manor Farm – DoncasterThe habit was a pleasant surprise. I often walk down this street but completely miss it. It seems quite small at first but has extra seating upstairs and a beautiful outside terrace area where you get a good view of the minister. I enjoyed an evening meal with my partner here for our anniversary. It had lovely lighting, unusual decorations and a comfy sofa to relax on. I often go there now I know about it, for a coffee during my shopping trips.
Habit, The – YorkMe and my wife visited the new branch in Shipley last Friday, we were surprised to see how busy it was, as we came into the restaurant our eyes were blown away, there is nothing like it. The place itself is huge and we managed to get a table. The restaurant is very stunning, the restaurant has a modern contemporary look, with magnificent colour changing light, comfortable mix of two coloured leather seat red and white and the canvases in the restaurant are astonishing. A waiter showed us around the place and it is just beautiful. It has a private function area for parties, birthdays, anniversaries, wedding...... Then we came to the table and were ready for our meal. The meal was great, i have never tasted the food like it before. The service and the food both fall in one with the beautiful restaurant. THE RESTAURANT HAS A "WOW" FACTOR. I would highly recommend the restaurant. IT IS PROBABLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT IN THE WHOLE OF YORKSHIRE.
