Ali Raj Tandoori – HarrogateNever have I had a Lamb Shank like it!!!! The roast lunches are excellent and very good value for money. You have to get in quick though!!
Coore Arms, The – NorthallertonI have been to the jinos in guisley and it's great especially if you go for the early bird menu-exceptional value for money. It's also all on one level apart from a small step so its ideal for people with disabilities.
Lanna Thai – GuiseleyHad a party for my mum here, the buffet they provided was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place for functions; we've got another one booked for next month!
The Robin – Hullthis pub is great! the curry is fantastic!
The Robin – HullWe have been to the Agra 3 many times; including one of the first nights it opened. The staff are very friendly and helpful, its one of the best Indians I have been to... Go here its great!
Agra 3 – WorksopMy wife & I have been a regulars for many years now & have never been disappointed so much so we take family & friends when the occasion arises.
Central Park – MiddlesbroughWe are locals who love this place. The food is fresh, very tasty and the menu contains some original dishes ('chef's recommendations'). Very friendly and professional service. If you like great Indian cuisine you won't be disappointed. Quiet ambience and reasonable cost makes it pleasant all round. Try it!
Bengal Brasserie – YorkHaving been to the restaurant several times I have never had a poor meal. The food is wonderful and such a change. The Meze is under £15.00 and is the best value for money around. There is something for everyone and they offer a vegetarian Meze too for non meat eaters. What a welcome to Brighouse.
Meze Restaurant – BrighouseShimla spice is a great restaurant to eat at. The atmosphere is great the services good and mainly the food is great. They are due to open another branch in Shipley in October. Thank you to all the staff at shimla spice
Shimla Spice Restaurant – KeighleyOne of the best in Sowerby bridge. You won't be disappointed , the menu is plentiful and changes regularly. The restaurant is good for couples as well as groups but you must book as it gets very busy. Take your own wine and it makes a very cheap evening. The food is good and once you have been you'll be back again.
Cafe No.5 – Sowerby BridgeShimla spice has proven very popular over the past years. The food and the service there is brilliant. The atmosphere is great. The Shimla Spice restaurant is extending and opening another one of their restaurant in Shipley in early October.
Shimla Spice Restaurant – KeighleyThis is a true silver service establishment of impeccable refinement. If you desire to take your time over your meal and savour the most exquisite food that is cooked and served to perfection and you also wish to be free of yobish loud mouthed fellow diners then this is the place to have that special occasion. The price reflects but is worth every penny.
Middlethorpe Hall Hotel – YorkI took my boyfriend here for his birthday. I had never even heard of it before but after taking a look at the website thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad I did. It is without a doubt the best Thai food I?e ever had. I mentioned that it was my boyfriend? birthday, and about 10 of the staff came out with small instruments and sang happy birthday to him. They also brought him a free dessert and us both a free drink. It was slightly more expensive than we would normally pay for a meal out, but was more than worth it. We will definitely be returning. If you're unsure about where to go I would definitely recommend here. Try it... I have no doubts that you'll be glad you did!!!
Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreTrenchers is simply a class above the rest! The meal was more expensive than in the take-aways around town, but it was well worth the extra. Greeted at the door we were shown to the bar where we ordered a bottle of wine from their list - which covers all tastes from house wines through to Dom Perignon. We were then shown to our table where our waitress took our order with a pleasant smile. We decided upon sharing a locally caught lobster as a starter, before indulging in traditional Fish & Chips (1 Haddock and 1 Plaice); the lobster was divine and the fish was pure white and melted on the tongue. My wife was completely full but I managed to find room for a home-made Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice-Cream; again I was not disappointed. The meal was fantastic, service cheerful and attentive to all our needs. Did I forget to mention the restaurant decor, all leather seating with marble tables & I noticed they have won a national award for their toilet facilities - with baby changing facilities in the gents and aftershaves available for use no wonder my wife disappeared into the ladies for a pampering session. I would rate this as a 9.5 / 10 experience - If in the area - ITS A MUST VISIT!!
Trenchers – WhitbyGood friendly and great place to be for the best Italian i had eaten for a long time .
Zizzi – YorkBeen to the Greyhound on many occasions. I personally think the food menu during the week offers more choice as opposed to the set Sunday menu. The Glazed Gammon Joints are not to be missed. If you are wanting a belly buster of a mixed grill, I challenge you to finish it (I only just managed. Best to book in advance as this pub is very popular and has limited tables. A good choice of real ales (for all you camra enthusiasts) and the pub has its own cricket ground alongside the car park, ideal for those lazy summer afternoons. Very pleasant atmosphere, staff and good value for money.
