We had diner here on 30 December 2023.the food was absolutely divine. The ambience was so relaxing. Can't wait to go again for valentines day. Thank you do much 10 out of 10 Jan

Not so kneen on the new menu, too much fish, tapas not the sort of thing we would choose. On the children’s menu there’s no more cod bites and chips. Pizza looked like it was frozen. We absolutely love The Dove usually but would prefer a few tweaks to the menu.

Excellent experience. Staff, Patrick the owner were phenomenal, generous and attentive. Food was much better than expected and well worth a try!!

Booked for 3 adults and 2 kids, we have been a few times previously and really enjoyed it, unfortunately this time one of the kids burger come out stone cold, we raised it with the waitress who took it away and advised a new one would be cooked only to be presented the same burger back and hardly even warmed up, a little disappointing, all other meals were ok and I was happy to see they had Neck oil on tap.

Had a party of 10 for a birthday , the service was good , the drinks were a bit slow but they were very busy so we didn’t mind too much . If there was anything not quite right they fixed it . The staff were ace from start to finish , couldn’t fault them . The food was good and would definitely come again .

Enjoyed a lovely meal with good company in a very welcoming, friendly and intimate atmosphere. The flavours in the food were subtle and presentation excellent. We have never been disappointed when coming here and our family enjoy joining us when they visit. Highly recommended!

First visit yesterday and thoroughly recommend. Beef was perfect on the roast, maccaroni cheese was excellent. Butternut squash was thoroughly enjoyed by a curry fanatic and fish and chips pleased a demanding customer. Although very busy with Christmas parties service was good and very good value for money.

Another great Lunch...service was great and new menu is great too...chicken wings from the tapas menu were really nice.

We had an early Christmas meal for four ladies that worked together. We were made to feel very welcome. The bar and restaurant is warm and cosy. Best of all, the food was great. Good selection and very tasty. We will be back. Thank you.

We have been before and the food was as good as ever. However, the service was slower than usual, staff not so attentive. At one point I had to ask the waitress to take our dessert order as she was distracted, along with others rearranging the tables for a booking which was quite disruptive around us trying to eat. However, I am confident that this was a one off and when we visit again the normal service we usually experience will be apparent.

This is a great restaurant with really tasty food. There is a good selection on the menu, I love the bread on the sharing platter starter. The pizzas are wonderful, but then so is the ravioli and the chicken! There is a nice relaxed atmosphere, you don’t feel rushed, there is no second sitting peering over your shoulder waiting for you to finish. To top it off the service is great and the price really reasonable. Well worth a visit.

We had tapas. Chicken with peri peri sauce was served with no sauce and the chicken was overcooked. Asian style crab had a very unpleasant taste. Pulled pork bao buns has very little pork, were missing the promised pink pickle onions and were dry. Calamari was ok. Padron peppers were bitter. Service was slow
