Superb service & superb food

Instagram enticed our visit and I was not disappointed. Great quality Sunday roast, really good service and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. I will certainly go back. Ample parking too.

Fantastic place, lovely food. Very homely feel as it’s quite small. Parking is an issue but after 6pm can park on main road. I would highly recommend and am definitely going again.

Absolutely fabulous food. My other half couldn't stop raving about the flavours she could taste. We'll definitely be back, and soon.

The food was excellent the service how ever was shocking. Really let the place down, the pub itself I'd beautifully decorated and clean. Had to look for staff on 3 occasions , took dessert order wrong . Then had to find staff again to pay bill.

It's been a long time since my partner and myself have enjoyed such a well cooked Sunday lunch.

Really lovely food, lovely atmosphere/ vibe inside the dining area. I came twice in one week due to the food being so nice. The food is fresh and presented beautifully. The only negative/ let down I would say is that the service is extremely slow. Ordered drinks which never arrived to the table, had to ask multiple times for the dessert menu. On both occasions the staff were not very tentative to customers even when the restaurant isn’t at full capacity. If they improved the service provided I feel that it would be elevate the dining experience.

My wife and I come here a lot. We love the food and drinks. There's a good mix of dishes from a variety of cuisines. There's also a good mix of veg and non-veg food which caters to my wife as she's vegetarian. Brilliant customer service offered everytime we come!

This is our go to place for special occasions. The food is delicious, the restaurant area is clean and welcoming. The staff are welcoming and efficient. Hope to visit again soon

Booked the Dove for my husband's birthday. Alex and the Team accommodated our requests and all our guests had a lovely time. The food and service was excellent.

We visited on a Thursday evening with 3 teenagers, food choice and quality was superb and service was excellent. Nice atmosphere in the conservatory. Highly recommend and will return.

Atmosphere is lovely and we could not have been made more welcome. The food is superb and the price very reasonable. I found the chili sauce on my dish a little hotter than I like so I was offered a free drink. Excelent service Our favourite restaurant.

We visited after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Two of us ate on a Saturday afternoon on the way to a concert in Leicester. We were given a very warm welcome and advised on our wine choice. We then shared a lovely starter of duck followed by delicious salmon and hallumi skewers. The food was fresh and tasty and very well presented. We finished with a coffee and mini dessert. We were very happy with the service and food quality, and thought the price was very reasonable. The 'conservatory' room that we sat in was light and comfortable. We would recommend it it you are visiting the vicinity.

Well our second review of the Dove and totally different from our other excellent one. Fish and chips, fish was mainly batter, chips were ok, mushy peas were very very sweet, quite unusual not in a good way. Lettuce wedge salad with salmon, well for £20 you get a quartered baby gem lettuce, a few pine nuts, a bit of chopped tomato and about 4 croutons, with a small portion of very dry over cooked salmon. Children’s pasta and tender stem broccoli, pasta was not overly warm and we had to ask for the broccoli which when it arrived was cold. When we eventually saw a staff member they offered to replace the salmon! I will make it clear we told the staff member we were not seeking a refund as we had eaten the majority of our meals but were extremely disappointed with both the quality and poor value for money. We note the establishment does not appear to respond to comments so wonder why they ask you to review them. We were planning to take a group of diners here but based on this experience that has now been cancelled, consistency is the key and we do not recommend restaurants lightly. Cannot fault friendliness of staff.

An excellent pub with a variety of meals on the menu. Waiters/ waitresses were efficient and friendly. Meals were fairly priced. Will be back soon.

Food and service were both excellent, would definitely recommend
