Arrived to find member of staff sitting down was show to our table gave our drinks order then when it was time to put our food order in the member of staff sat down at the table to take it down the stake we asked for was for well done it was pink in the middle try to pay the bill had to wait for a few minutes then when we was leaving asked a member of staff which way was out and they completely blanked us and walked of safe to say won't be going back for a while

Lovely Pub serving great food at good prices. Karl and the team are always very friendly, polite and professional making it a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a meal and drink with family.

Food was awful had the pork bite starter we could not eat it as was full of spice which is not on the menu it states bbq the waitress explained that it has changed and spicy now we could not eat it and was not even offered a refund. Not really acceptable for food that’s not eaten the main courses were not good either filet steak tough mixed grill practically raw very poor experience

All good, me and wife thoroughly enjoyed our evening out at the man at arms, food was excellent, staff efficient and friendly.

Very happy with our meal. I’d pre ordered a table online. Once at the pub it was very organised and friendly staff. I ordered through the the app which was easy o understand.. Not long to wait for food and when it did arrive it was presented well and hot. Serving staff was polite. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Well done!

Always love a meal at the Man at Arms, great friendly atmosphere, very cosy. The prices are very reasonable and service is fast. The steak is the best part! Cannot fault them 10/10

We came here for an early father's Day lunch. The food was sooo nice, especially the puddings. The service was lovely too.

First time we had been out since before the first lockdown. Felt comfortable, no issues..polite staff, served very quickly, food arrived on good time. Lots of it and super tasty. nice relaxed environment. Would happily return.

6 of us visited on June 12th and we had a table on the terrace. This is my 2nd visit and most definitely won't be my last. The terrace has really been thought about and is so pretty and comfortable. Food and drinks are excellent. Love the fact that you can just order bites. We tried the giggle juice and sangria. Both were delicious but the sangria is one of the best we've ever tried. The staff are really nice too and make sure you have a great experience.

Very disappointed We have been going to this restaurant for years But on our recent visit the food was poor Small portions burnt scampi and onion rings and the steaks very fatty . The main courses were terrible The food has definitely declined drastically! Waste of money.

After hearing amazing things about The Lancaster Arms, we decided that was where we celebrate our anniversary as well as our first trip out since the easing of lockdown. Was it worth it YES. The atmosphere was brilliant with lots of happy diners, the staff were helpful down to the fact they made sure our dog's water bowl was full. I was particularly impressed when one diner had a niggle about a salad and the waitress was happy to hear the issue which she dealt with and said she would pass on the comments to teh kitchen. We chose to sit in the Gin Terrace, which was the best decision as they stock our favourite brand The music selection was ideal for a lazy Sunday lunch where we did not feel rushed to finish so other diners could be seated. The food was good and plentiful and a nice Sunday selection. I can understand why people speak so highly of The Lancaster Arms and especially the welcome you receive and we will definitely be back

Awful food. Fillet steak as tough as old boots, service waiter rolled their eyes. Will never ever go again would not recommend to anyone Doesn’t deserve 1 more a 0

Excellent food all freshly cooked, with friendly staff and good service throughout. Looking forward to our next visit.

I haven't used the Red Lion since 2019 as the service and quality had gone downhill. I was pleasantly surprised when we decided to visit on Saturday 12th June as the staff were friendly and extremely efficient, it was nice to be in a restaurant where you were made to feel important. My wife had fillet steak and said it was really nice and I had a selection of tapas which were goof value for money.
