Meals were spot on, very good value for money but some staff need to work on their customer service !

As usual very good food and service.

Food was lovely and portions were great only negative was I ordered an extra drink and I had to go over to the bar to remind the staff member I had asked to order another drink as my other drink didn't arrive at my table

Good food, nice clean surroundings. Only thing that let's it down is the lady that served us. No manners, got the drinks order wrong. Just not very pleasant.

Food was delicious. Staff very friendly and welcoming Thankyou.

A fantastic dining out experience . It was our date night and we were treated to superb service, by a very attentive waiter, and the food was exceptional. Cant wait for another date night at this excellent restaurant.

Friendly service, good portions and the steak was cooked to perfection, highly recommended.

I have visited the Man at Arms on quite a few ocassions and the food and customer service has always been of a very good standard. However, I recommended the pub to a friend and visited with them. I was horrified to have been subject to the most horrendous customer service by a young waitress. She was very rude, which meant that our visit was not enjoyable. Although the assistant manager tried his best to accommodate us, our evening had already been off putting. I am not sure that I will return after this.

Considering we've had two lovely meals here, this visit was a total disaster . Sat for an hour before the food arrived....problem being no starter delivered, that got sent back. The starter arrived 15 mins later. Burnt. At this time we decided that enough was enough and left. Staff were clearly having a VERY bad day. No communication with ourselves and clearly between themselves. It wasn't a good atmosphere to spend what was supposed to be a celebration. We were not the first people to complain about the service this evening so there is no doubt a bigger picture. I don't expect this to be passed on to paying diners. I hope whatever issues existed are sorted soon as it's usually great food and service.

Our first time at this amazing place. They catered for 7 people. The food is so good and can see the Chief making his amazing fresh dishes. I had the seabass, and my partner had the Red Snapper, wow. Can wait to make this our local and drop in again and again, small and great service. Father and Son combo. Thank you so much for Birthday celebrations. See you again very soon

Worst meal I’ve had a the red lion, I ordered gammon which came out cremated on one side and flash grilled on the other along with a slimy semi cooked egg, my little boys meal was even worse, the chicken bites we ordered came out looking like they’ve been microwaved, they were pale, rubbery and freezing, his plate got sent back, disappointing visit, I’ll be sure to book somewhere different in future.

2 of us had lunch on Friday - drinks cold, tasty food, very friendly staff - especially Linda. We will come back for a steak one evening!

We waited over a hour after ordering to be told that our orders could not be completed as items had run out., so we had to re-order 2 of 4 meals. when meals came the food was good and service was helpful. I brought my 3 friends to enjoy but the 1hr 30 mins from 19:30 before we actually got our food was all that was spoken about after the meal was done.

Firstly I must say that the quality and quantity of the food was very good. A hot day and I decided to sit outside. The lady at the bar seemed confused when I told her I would be outside. I was told to wait for a waitress but after 10 minutes I noticed a QR code on the table and created an account and ordered via the website. The food arrived within 20 minutes but no drinks.The waitress told me someone else would serve the drinks. Another ten minutes passed. I asked at the bar and was told that the machine didn't make a noise to alert them that an internet order for drinks had been placed. So my drinks arrived 10 minutes after my meal. I NEVER wanted to order on the APP. I wanted to order from a human but the APP system obviously didn't work despite me reminding at least one human. Nice food though

Steak overcook. When ask for medium red got over cooked and chips where reheated No good will not go again . Need updating
