Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterFantastic new years eve meal. Food was delicious and the service and welcome was brilliant. Would definitely recommend. We will be going back soon.
Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterLovely, welcoming restaurant. Great food, warn service, great presentation. They looked after my elderly mother, young son and us very well
Cheikhos Restaurant – LeicesterThis is the best place in the area!
Stamford Arms – LeicesterI was staying in the lovely village of Clipston and the accommodation recommended the Bulls Head. I'm very glad they did. Right up my street, A quintessential English old village with an old pub service high quality and well kept real ale and top quality great value food! My Chicken supreme was hearty well presented and very tasty. Only £13 too!
The Bulls Head – Market HarboroughI have lost a lot of money here over the years. then again I've had some good food! That's a gamblers mentality!
Grosvenor Casino Leicester – LeicesterI always have the same thing as its gorgeous, Chicken Chasseur! Great looking venue
Bistrot Pierre – LeicesterJust purchased a large cod at Frydales and very disappointed. The fish had a very high smell mingled with a smell of ammonia. on opening it up the smell was sickening and the fish flesh was a yellowy colour. My adult son took one mouthful and spat it out as the taste was vile. You had better check your stocks. I have had fish and chips here on several occasions which has been good but this has put me off recomending this shop again. I would have bought the fish back but taxi fares are not cheap.
Frydales – LeicesterPlaced order at 7 was told 45 mins for collection, was there and had to wait another 20 mins on top (as they said there delivery driver had an accident) fail to see how that affected a collection, once home the food order was wrong, called and was given poor excuses and had to return to get a refund as they said to replace it would take another 40 mins, has severely gone down hill since last year, will never return.
Vojon – LeicesterWent with wife for Sunday lunch after refurbishment. Ambience attractive and the previous Friday/Saturday night nuisance has reduced. Surprised to be asked to pay up front. Starters fine, wine list OK. The roast was OK, the Yorkshire pudding hard. The vegetarian option was unimaginatively accompanied by the same vegetables as the roast and I didn't even try to crack the Yorkshire pudding. Service very slow (took 1 h 40 mins) so decided not to risk a pudding. Asked three times if everything OK- after 3rd 'No' someone came to speak to us. Follow up letter unanswered. Not willing to return until pay up front policy altered. The bill would have been OK if the food and service matched.
Three Horseshoes – LoughboroughGreat atmosphere, great food ,great service.Had my sons party here and everything went so well, presentation was extremely amazing. The manager Azi was so helpful and arranged everything ,5 out of 5 a must try.
Abu Daniel – LeicesterI visited the detox shack for the first time on Tuesday. The food was delicious, wholesome and really fresh. The service was also excellent. I would recommend a visit.
The Detox Shack – LeicesterYou need to go and try the food it's best restaurant in Leicester friendly staff and very good food.
Abu Daniel – LeicesterBest place in Leicester
Crescent Grill House – LeicesterAte there last night, second time in less than a week, lovely food, great deco and atmosphere, the service second to none. Recommended.
Kurakura Restaurant – LoughboroughA fantastic change of ambience and food - a great menu - friendly attentive service, competitively priced and an impressive ceiling!! My fourth visit since re-opening and I can't see what would stop me becoming a regular.
Kurakura Restaurant – LoughboroughFantastic meal and service. Went there with parents and they were really impressed with the change of deco.Too good for Loughborough I think.
Kurakura Restaurant – LoughboroughThe food was very bland, spaghetti carbonora was mediocre at best, I have cooked better myself and have little to no training in food. The other meal, pollo pepperanara was an absolute discrace, it was literally a chicken breast covered in a tin of chopped tomatos with a few peppers thrown in, honestly zero flavor whatsoever. The service was bad, we never got asked if everything was fine with the meal (come on guys even the weatherspoons pubs manage this), bare in mind we were the only people in there and there were 2-3 members of staff just stood around, plus they forgot to write our order down therefore we had to ask three times for the bill. Why not just come over and be honest about the mistake, rather than make us wait 20mins then tell us, the order wasnt going to magically re-write itself you are seriously just wasting my time now. The decore was old and dated but I really don't mind that, all I ask for is decent food and service, we got none. Price is average, It's not expensive but you can eat in much better places for the same price.
La Dolce Vita – Leicester
