Amazing service, good and value for money!

First time trying Clockworks and was not disappointed. Gorgeous little place nestled away from the hustle and bustle of town. Not sure if the twinkley lights are an all year round feature but I loved them. We both ordered the butcher which was the nicest breakfast I have had in a long time. Loved that the food took time (not to long) to come out, you can tell it’s cooked fresh and also gives you a chance to enjoy a hot drink and the surroundings. Will definitely be back :)

I did say we were coming back, and oh my word, the food is divine, my son and his girlfriend, could not believe how good it was, and the service, tremendous, our new favourite place.

Been to clockworks a few time and have never been disappointed, brilliant breakfast staff are very friendly and extremely helpful and polite nice relaxed atmosphere.

Festive Afternoon Tea Absolutely wonderful sparkling afternoon tea. Staff friendly and patient. nothing was too much trouble. Delicious mulled wine and fabulous festive treats. Highly recommended ❤️

Great location, great service and great food. Generous portions in the lamb chops and chicken kebab, complimented with bread with the main course and a free baklava taster when paying the bill. Brilliant. All provided in a covid save environment. Keep up the good work.

We visited yesterday to use our Red Letter afternoon tea experience and celebrate my sisters 50th Birthday. All I can say is what a fab afternoon we spent at The Richmond. From the moment we entered the Bar to the minute we left, the guy seeing to us (Nuno) was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, he spent time talking to us and ensured we had a lovely celebration. The Christmas afternoon tea was delicious and such a good idea to throw in pigs in blankets and turkey and stuffing sandwiches and the cakes were superb. After not knowing anything about this place I would thoroughly recommend it and we are already planning a return for more food and maybe even an overnight stay. Well done The Richmond and Nuno.

Incredible food and service. The atmosphere was great and they have a really good singer on a Friday. Highly recommend going to clockworks, I have never been disappointed.

First time at Christakis. Staff very friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere and decor. Didn’t wait long to make food order. Each course was excellent. I ordered the lamb and it just fell off the bone; very tender. Silver anniversary next year. Will definitely book Christakis.

The food was excellent and well priced. The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about the allergy information for every dish.

Had a beautiful afternoon tea with my Fiancé. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were really pleasant and even gave us 2 complimentary glasses of mulled wine. After a difficult year for the hospitality industry, acts of kindness like this is are even more appreciated. Thank you, will definitely be returning!

We dined last night with our son & his partner. Food was fabulous! Beautiful atmosphere we imagined we were back in Crete. Staff really attentive and friendly. Reasonably priced too. We highly recommend and we will most definitely be returning for another visit.
