Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreSuper Greek restaurant close to the Philharmonic theatre. Warmly greeted and shown to our table by a friendly member of the team. Quick and efficient service for drinks and food order, both served quickly. Great atmosphere at 5pm on a Saturday evening and we thoroughly enjoyed our food; mix meat sharing board, zucchini fritters, greek salad and tzatziki. We left feeling content with a bill of £62 between 3 people.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreLove the atmosphere - Service was great and the food is fresh and so good. Love it here, will be trying the scouse next time
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWe booked a table we arrived a bit earlier for the table stood for a we while before we got seen to by a member of staff however it was speedy service from then drink got took then are food arrived in 15 mins food was really good absolutely enjoyed it will return
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentrePre booked as we were told it gets busy and it was. Food was quick and the Scouse was delicious, with a good pint and fair prices we enjoyed it.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreFabulous. 4x of us came here 5:45pm on Sat before attending the Philharmonic for a concert, it is only 2min walk from the venue. The service was excellent & very friendly, the food was fabulous with good sized portions and the price was such good value for money for the quality of food and service. I recommend the mushroom starter (huge portion I suggest one to share) they were so nice we asked how they were cooked. They gave us a free mini brownie dessert. The toilets were very clean as was the restaurant. Would recommend highly esp if you like Greek food.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreAnother warm welcome, great food drinks and fantastic service .A lovely vibe .
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreWe had a Pre Theatre meal.I had pre booked and arrived 15 mins early. Our table was ready and waiting for us.We had the Scouse this time and it was really tasty.I love scouse and have had it in a few locations when we visit Liverpool, but this is by far the best Ma Egerton's is the perfect location for a pre theatre meal. The Pizza's are as good as the Scouse and the food is very reasonably priced. The service is super friendly, and the atmosphere really good and friendly. The pictures on the wall of the stars who have frequented the pub in the past is fascinating to look at. Ma Egerton's has a traditional pub feel but with excellent food and super friendly staff. Would recommend booking in advance if going for a pre theatre meal.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreGreat location for theatre and station. Pizza's tasty and good value. Staff friendly. Will be going again
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreExcellent food and atmosphere. Very good value for money.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreAtmosphere and service was great a lovely vibe with the Christmas decorations. However a slight issue was that my food was a little cold when coming out. Whereas my partner's was lovely and steaming hot. So was a little disappointed however food still tasted great.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreDisappointed. Asked for a dry white wine which tasted sweet and noticed something floating on it. Replaced with clean glass but still sweet. Opted for cab sav next which was much better. Went for haloumi and mushrooms as starters but both very dry and smothered with salt. Mains were ok, salmon and rice good but probably won't go back.
