Mowgli Street Food – Liverpool City CentrePopped in for breakfast which is definitely the best around. Had a full English with generous and tasty portion sizes. All good quality food served with speed. The place is small but has a chilled, relaxed atmosphere.
Lock and Key Hotel – LiverpoolA really excellent Indian/Arabic restaurant on Bold Street Liverpool. it must be good as it was full a 4 pm with a mainly Asian Arabic clientele . its dry but that is far outweighed by the quality of food, and anyway there are plenty of places to drink nearby. The kitchen is open and the grill is very popular. My Bhuna and garlic nan were perfect. The rice wasn't the usual pilau and was gorgeous. £14 for main, rice, nan and a soft drink...really great value and it looks cooltoo.
KO Grill – Liverpool City CentrePerfect little french place. When you are inside its just like being in a little romantic french bistro in paris. The food is small plates so you get to try a few dishes.
Petit Parle – LiverpoolWhat a great atmosphere here. We were stood by the hatch consuming Guiness. Lively fun and secure. Great for watching sport and playing pool etc. right in the heart of the city too.
McCooleys – Liverpool City CentreI chose the Pen Factory as I'd heard it was good for beer and food and in a cool space. We were not disappointed . Had a pint outside in the sun and then ate inside. The beer was very well kept and I love my Kerala fish curry and sharing the platter. My humus and bread side was very good also. Everyone else enjoyed their food, especially those who had the beef stew.
The Pen Factory – Liverpool City CentreRigbys is now under new management and as you will see its not looking its best. The mens toilets have become very smelly and the outside courtyard is full of ciggie butts that hsve not been bushed up for a very long time. The floor in the main bar is full of dust.Time for someone to do some cleaning!
Thomas Rigbys – Liverpool City CentreWe had an afternoon tea with prosecco at Blundell Street on Sunday, it was such a lovely place. The staff were fantastic, the food was lovely, and the atmosphere was great. They had a fantastic singer on too. Can't wait to return. Our meeter & greeter was David & looked after us very well. Well done guys 5* review from us.
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreGreat selection of craft beers. A big outside space and cool look and feel. Likeit!
Grove Beer Tap – Liverpool City CentreA great event space that can be adapted to suit whatever your needs are. Good little bar and café area too.
Hidden Garden at Constellations- Liverpool City CentreHad a great meal here on Sunday. would recommend and return.
Bistro Pierre – Liverpool City CentreWe went to Blundell Street for the Dirty Dancing and Grease night to celebrate my mum's 75th Birthday and had an amazing night. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us especially Jamie. The food was lovely and entertainment brilliant . Would recommend anyone to give it a try we would definitely go back .
Blundell Street Supper Club – Liverpool City CentreWent on Sunday afternoon. Was really quiet. But as always excellent food and value for money. Definitely recommend. Atmosphere only got a 4 as it was quiet at the time we went. Staff still really welcome you and look after you.
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreHi Party of six for my sixtieth birthday, we booked for Grand National night. It was totally top notch food and service with nothing at all to complain about. Will certainly book again soon. I dont do reviews but Bacchus was so good I had to. Regards Dave
Bacchus Taverna – Liverpool City CentreWow love this place. Great Japanese food well presented at great value. There lunch deal was only £10.95 for 3 gorgeous courses. The vibe is cool with a 1930s Shanghai touch, if that makes sense?! They have a constant soul playlist too!
Miyagi – Liverpool City CentreLovely lunch at Busaba. Chose from their Bangkok lunch Thali which was £9.95 for 2 courses, Satay chicken and Railway fried rice. Both tasty and aromatic! Very pleasant smiley service and a cool bright modern interior. It helped that the sun was shining!
Busaba Eathai – Liverpool OneI've not been before - but this is a really great little restaurant - food is really good quality - generous portions - and really cheap for the quality. Staff relaxed, friendly and efficient. Great mix of vegetarian and meat dishes.
Damas Cafe & Eatery – Liverpool City CentreVisited smoke house button street on 2/4/16. I'd seen pictures on social media in which the food looked lovely. The staff were lovely and always there to help. We ordered the surf and turf which consisted of whole lobster, steak ,beef brisket. And some sauces. Also a burger and 2 kids meals. The lobster was like rubber the steak was tasteless and the beef brisket was just like the beef you'd buy in a packet from the supermarket. The kids meals were ok my son got a chicken slider burger. In which the bun fell apart wen he picked it up!!! Our visit here was a total waste of money. If anyone is thinkin of goin to a smoke house barbaque styled food restaraunt in Liverpool. Save your self time and money and visit REDS barbaque Hanover street. We defiantly won't be goin back too smoke house button street.
Button Street Smokehouse – Liverpool City Centre2 courses plus a piece of home-made dessert, £12.50. Available until 6.30pm Wednesday and Thursday and until 5.30pm Fridays (excludes Bank Holidays).
