Lobster Pot – Liverpool City CentreVEGETARIANS BEWARE!! This place is the pits when it comes to customer satisfaction and respect. I called the restaurant (or cafe more like it) before visiting to ask about set meals, the woman was cold, abrupt and rude enough to ask me to call back later because she was busy!! I went along out of convenience anyway. When my friend and I arrive we are ushered to a table by the same blatantly ignorant lady owner and shoved the menus. We enquire if the set meal for two could be catered to a vegetarian option for ONE of us, "no" we're told as "it's set as it is and cannot be changed!" Little Miss Misery moans. Astounded but by now very ravished we decide she will choose from the standard menu instead and I from the specials menu. We get to the point of ordering and are then told that I cannot order from the 'set specials' menu as it's for a minimum of two people!! I explain they have unreasonably refused to consider a meat free meal and that's why I've made the choice from two different menu's...help!! I ask the seriously ignorant owner is she willing to see customers walk out and go elsewhere! What does she do? Shrugs her shoulders pathetically and walks off ha ha. I told the waitress she wasn't getting paid for the drinks after wasting my time and left with a belly full of satisfaction the didn't get a penny of my wealth!! Ignorant, inconsiderate and resentful of customers if they don't tow her line. Headed for a delicious Indian mean instead and served a meat-free no hassle meal with polite, respectful staff. For the pleasure I gave a fat tip. Avoid Jumbo City please.
Jumbo City – Liverpool City CentreVisited on 20/08/2011 . Very, very impressive from start to finish. Courteous, polite staff. I knocked over my Prosecco only for it to be swiftly replaced by the attentive bar staff. My partner and I were initially seated near the top of the stairs enroute to the toilet, the waitress read my expression and asked if we preferred to wait for a better table, which we did. Food was second to none. My main of sea bass, salad and fries was the best I have ever tasted. My partner had calzone which he also recommended. Cannot wait to go back again. I would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant with great service, great cuisine and a great ambience. All too often restaurants do not walk the walk, but this place was on point .
Piccolino – Liverpool City CentreI went to Panoramic recently with my partner. Impressive venue and fantastic views. I was very disappointed by the food. Average starter and both of our main courses were sent back to the kitchen as they were both cold. The service was average. I have had much nicer food and service. On the whole we were both disappointed by the experience and would not rush back.

Panoramic 34 – Liverpool City CentreDuring our short stay in Liverpool, my partner and I visited Etsu on our first evening because we love sushi. We had such a great evening: delicious sushi, lovely waitresses and very nice owner. Two days later, we decided to go back for more! And again a very pleasant evening. Even on a very busy Friday evening, the owner took time to share some history of Liverpool and anecdotes about The Beatles with us. When we visit Liverpool again, we will definitely have sushi at Etsu as well!
Etsu – Liverpool City CentreEtsu (meaning "delight", I believe) serves amazing authentic Japanese food, and it's not too pricey either. The staff were very welcoming and offered a pleasant service throughout. I am a huge fan of sushi and it was the best I have ever had! Excellent little restaurant.
Etsu – Liverpool City Centrewe had a meal each in charlotte street and the chips were cold on both meals we do go in on a regular basis . and we have found that the meals have not been upto standard expected from your establishment
Tess Riley’s – Liverpool City CentreThis is a really good restaurant. Very informal. great location. Simple and very tasty food. Does not overphase you and so leaves room for fab deserts. Staff very attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere.
The Quarter – Liverpool City CentreFabulous food, great value, excellent service and some very imaginative cocktails, plus the ambience of a real Spanish tapas bar.

Chaophraya – Liverpool City CentreMy partner and I had dinner at the Clove & Hitch on Friday 29th July , The hospitality and the food were fantastic, Joe and his team are very attentive and really made sure your dining experience was a positive one. Its a very clear recommendation from us. Thanks Joe to you and your team for a great night Guy Grant Ps- Just be careful with the Clove Hitch Burger, its an amazing meal but I recommend you have an empty stomach on arrival as you may not be able to eat it all !! (as I clearly couldn't)
The Clove Hitch Bistro and Bar – Liverpool City CentreRetro decor, melt in your mouth salmon and mouth watering lamb. Service spot on, and departed with regret - cant wait to go back.
Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill @ Hotel Indigo Liverpool – Liverpool City CentreWe went there a few weeks ago for lunch and I was really impressed. Love Asian food and was best I have had in ages. The vietnamese coffee was to die for and even had a dessert which i never do in Asian restaurants. Highly recommended and we are booked back in for dinner next week!
Host – Liverpool City CentreOn Saturday 23rd July me and 10 of my girlfriends enjoyed a really fabulous day in Bistro Franc, the food was marvellous and the service was exceptional, we all commented on the great atmosphere, which is probably why we stayed so long... we were in the restaurant for most of the afternoon and everyone had a really special time, we can't wait to go back!
Bistro Franc – Liverpool City CentreTime before last, my visit was disappointing, but last weekend had one of the most enjoyable meals ever in Liverpool. Menu had changed quite a lot. It was absolutely delicious with the most delicate of flavours and cooked to perfection!
