Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreAlways love my visits to Ma Egerton’s before the theatre. The pizza is amazing and one of the best I’ve had. It’s such a reasonable price too. Cosy atmosphere and really friendly staff. Love it here!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreReally loved our meal here last night . Food , service and venue was perfect . Thank you so much.
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreFantastic staff, very friendly and welcoming. Food was outstanding. Would definitely visit here again.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreBooked a table one week before arriving in Liverpool for the weekend. Atmosphere and the staff were lovely. However, the main course was terrible. The waitress apologised for our wait having waited around 30 minutes after our starter had been cleared. My wife had the 'easy brie-zy' burger. under here fries was a receipt. I had the chicken burrito which was cold and the rice that was served with it had clearly been reheated or left under the warmer. I asked the manager to touch the rice, and they agreed this wasn't an acceptable standard. 20% knocked off the bill but given both out meals were not eaten this doesn't represent value for money and is a poor experience to say the least. We will not return. Wetherspoons would have been better and at 25% of the cost. Hopefully this was a one off rather than the norm...
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreFirst time coming here. Nice atmosphere, nice food. I had the ribs which were lovely. My children had the kids burger and kids chicken goujons. Just a heads up, the goujons are plain chicken and not breaded, my daughter is autistic so wouldn’t eat them. Not a problem for most people but just thought I’d mention it. My husband had a burrito but it wasn’t what he was expecting. He ate it but said he’d had better elsewhere and would pick something else next time. The view of the docks was lovely and my kids liked looking out at the boats. We had to leave early due to my daughter getting upset and not calming down, but for the time we were there we would go back. Only negative point I would say was myself and my two daughters nipped the loo and my husband said the waitress tried to take our plates mid eating without asking first which he was a bit put off by. They are 3 & 5 so couldn’t wait until we had finished eating! Overall we would try there again.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreGreat visit yet again regulars as we always work Comic Con, staff are friendly, polite, super efficient and it’s great to keep seeing friendly faces each time we return. Food amazing as always.
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreAbsolutely fabulous. We booked a table and it was waiting for us when we arrived, even though the place was heaving. We both had the Scouse with French bread and red cabbage, which was totally delicious.!!
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreAs per usual gorgeous food and drinks and staff always great, happy and can’t help you enough . Will be back soon X
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreI have been here twice I can honestly say of the best food I have had in Liverpool and most definitely the best drinks. Incredible value for money
Souvla – Liverpool City CentreBest pub in town, best scouse in town, best staff in town. Traditional grand old Scouse pub.
Ma Egerton’s Stage Door – Liverpool City CentreParty of 6. Service was very good food and drinks arrived promptly but the burger buns weren't as fresh as they could of been. We where then being presured after less than an hour with drinks still in hand and desert option pending that they needed the table and could we move on made for an uncomfortable end to our first visit to this location doubt we will return
Whats Cooking – Liverpool City CentreFantastic food, and plenty of it, fantastic friendly service and lovely easy going atmosphere. It was our second time there and we will definitely be adding it to our list of favourite eating places when we are in Liverpool.
