A great place Food is authentic,well prepared and abundant.|The service is good,discrete,caring.A very affordable place to lunch or dine in a genuine french atmosphere without the attitude. I can only recommend it.

Came here for food before the NBA game. Considering that time was short and the restaurant was packed, we found the service to be excellent and the food to be perfectly cooked - very impressed indeed.

The restaurant is small but pleasant. but the food is out of this world. I highly recommend the carpaccio or seared watermelon to start, but everything was of an incredible quality. (even the burger)

What a fantastic restaurant. I went there last night and the whole experience was great from start to finish. The cost is more than normal, the portions are much larger than normal and the food tastes better than normal! What more can you ask for?! As a guide, a portion here is probably twice that anywhere else so order accordingly. I can thoroughly recommend the Barbecue Ribs with Pepper and Spicy Salt. I regularly eat spare ribs and these were definitely the best I have ever eaten.

Really pleasant & relaxed atmosphere (great music at just the right volume), the decor is stylish & informal with a lovely bar area to the front which has a few tables, then more tables to the back where you can see the kitchen staff and part of their work area. The food is french style small plates such as terrine, various hams & sausages plus pigs trotters (it helps if you like pig when eating at Brawn) all served with excellent bread by very knowledgeable and friendly waiting staff. The wine list is also excellent and although I didn't try the puddings (too full), I am pretty sure that they will be delicious and fully intend to leave room for them on my next visit.

We couldn't recommend it highly enough! Went there for a work do, great cocktails with a happy hour that seems to go on all night! Really good tex mex munch! Great music great atmosphere!

i live close to Chalk Farm road and often like to either visit or pick up a take away pizza. Their pizza's are fantastic and always fresh. A good option for lunch or dinner!

10 out of 10 - great food and lovely atmosphere

Have used these before a few times and the food has been OK. Used them today and the food and service was awful! Took two hours for the food to be delivered even after I called to chase. They did compensate us with a free bottle of coke but the food was not up to scratch - cheap cuts of lamb were used in the curry so that it tasted leathery. The naan we ordered was so burned that we couldn't eat it. Will not use these again as there are plenty of other curry shops in this area of London.

it's really fantastic place and the food it's awesome,actually I'm planning to celebrate my birthday on 2nd of January 2011!

I've heard about this restaurant for an Argentinian friend. She said she's tried several ones and this one is the best in London. So following her recommendations I'm booking a place for this Friday for me and my friends. We want to celebrate her birthday so what best place to do it than going to her favourite Argentinian restaurant in London! And off course, expect my further comments next week when I'll tell you in detail how was my experience!!

Pleased we managed to visit on our trip this time - we were not disappointed! From so many mediocre eating-out places in London where 'they don't care as there's always another new visitor tomorrow', this one is a must visit. The steps will put some off but if you can make it, it's worth it!

Top place, recommend the pizza garden at the rear roof is a must in the summer. Bar Centrale is definitely a celeb hang out and most of all the foooood is great. Def worth checking out especially if you're in big groups

Never going there again. How a place can go downhill in less than a year. Last year we had a pre-Christmas group meal and it was excellent. I am a vegan, my wife is a vegetarian and there were lots of tasty veggie tapas. After Christmas two of the group organised a Burns Night supper there. They catered very well for us with a vegan haggis. It was therefore very disappointing to go back there for the annual pre-Christmas group meal and to be treated so poorly. My wife went to the bar and bought a bottle of wine. She queried why she was being charged more than the price stated at the bar and was told that was because we were eating and therefore using tablecloths and serviettes! Our meal was a very bland and boring soup followed by an even blander and boring vegetable risotto. The meat eaters had vegetables with their food. We were told that we could not have vegetables to liven up our dish because they were not included, notwithstanding that we had paid the same money for a half-hearted risotto as the meat dishes. The final course was a choice between a dessert or coffee; last year coffee had been included. It is not cheap to eat there and I wish we had not bothered.
