Very good quality considering that it is a takeaway outlet, received a flyer at my hotel room, a lovely little suprise.

Thames Tandoori – ClaphamAfter frequenting it and recommending it for over ten years I'm afraid to say I will ACTIVELY DISCOURAGE people from eating at MYUNG GA Korean restaurant on Kingly St in Soho. After overcharging our group (and we're all quite good at adding up!) the manager CALLED THE POLICE when we quibbled politely about the bill. Initially they refused to remove the over-charge (which we proved we were correct about by consulting the menu), so we said we'd just not-pay the service charge (optional by law anyway). I can't stress enough how measured, sober and polite we are, this was not a 'lads night out' rowdy group by a long shot. But anyway, the manager exploded at this point (not literally unfortunately) and ran screaming and shouting to pick up the phone and dialled 999 to summon the police, actual police, blue lights, nee-naw, 'now then now then' POLICE. (They never turned up obviously as they have genuine police work to do and don't need time wasters like Myung Ga management stopping them from doing their work).Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
Myung Ga – SohoThe foods are fantastic and great. The place is nice and good and the staff are very helpful.. I will be back there soon!!!!
Wings Buffet – DocklandsSmall restaurant , great food, smashing service great guys working there.... Will be going back...
The Sitar – North LondonMagnificent is a word I have never used to describe a hotel. However the Corinthia is just that. The location is perfect, a stones throw from the Thames in Whitehall. The hotel commands a a view of the Thames and city at the apex of 2 roads, giving the hotel a Haussmann Parisian feel. The interior is very upmarket and modern, without suffering from being contempory, which by definition becomes unfashionable. A mind bogling task to make a new hotel grand and imposing without the benefit of a long and grand history, but they did it. The hotel has two dining options and we enjoyed our Italian seafood choices vey much in Massimo. We will definitely return to try the British cuisine in The Northall, which we prefered the ambience of, when we do not have our infant in tow. I have no complaints at all about our time at the Corinthia.
Corinthia Hotel London – WestminsterJust off Trafalgar Square opposite Cgaring Cross station it is in a great spot. Great pizzas and service. Was still hungry and ordered the meatballs. Pizza Express are great for Pizzas, meatballs....think not. The waiter was good enough to take them off my bill.
Pizza Express – StrandHad such a tasty dinner here last week with my family. The food was amazing! I had the Pad thai, which was cooking to perfection. The service was great, had a really friendly waitress who made our evening. Overall, had such a lovely meal out with my family and will be back in the new year!
SUDA Thai – Covent GardenLOVE Karaoke Box! It was my second time going and just as fun! Had such a good girls night, the cocktails are amazing as were our singing! Great selection of songs, to cover all our music tastes and overall a fab night out.
Karaoke Box – MayfairI've been last night at Thai City restaurant in hammersmith, what a lovely food!!!! The city platter starter, the seafood soup and the seabass sooo delicious, good service nice atmosphere, it was a very good experience. Highly recommend it.
Thai City Restaurant – HammersmithWent here as part of my ongoing quest for the perfect burger - and I think it came pretty close! The homemade bun was delicious and the burger was as juicy as I'd hoped. Meanwhile my (slightly less greedy) friend opted for the swordfish linguine - again it tasted great. On top of this we were really well looked after by our waitress, who was refreshingly knowledgeable about both the food and the drink. Definitely looking forward to making a return visit next time I'm in this part of town with a rumbling tum.
The Foundry Bar & Restaurant – Camden TownFirstly the food was okay. Nothing special, although I would recommend not having the seafood pizza as the seafood was very poor. The biggest problem with my experience at this restaurant was the service. The service was pretty poor and the bill took 45 minutes to turn up. They add a discretionary service charge to the bill and I asked for it to be removed from the bill as I didn't think the service warranted it. The waiter refused and demanded that I pay it. He said it was a compulsory charge and was stated on the menu. It actually stated discretionary service charge so I asked again for him to remove it once more. He then actually said "you are not f***ing leaving here until you pay your f***ing bill". I told him I was trying to pay my bill but he must remove the service charge as the cannot add charges to the bill, as it's the law. It soon descended further to him swearing at me and threatening me repeatedly. When the manager told him that he didn't know what he was talking about, he was told to remove it immediately. Despite being completely in the wrong he decided the best thing to do was to call me a "f***ing c**t as I was leaving. Hopefully he was fired but even the management did not apologise. It's safe to say I will not go near this place again and I hope they fail if they are going to provide such appalling service.
Bar Centrale – Camden TownANA HANNAH MOUJOUD...... WATLA8NA!!!!
El Cantara – SohoANA HANNAH.................WATLA9NA!!!!!!!!...........................
Maison Touareg – SohoI visited the Bow Bells pub very recently and was surprised at the quality of food on offer - the pub is under new kitchen management and what a difference! Juicy burgers, fab steaks, amazing bar snacks - and a Sunday Roast which comes highly recommended - try it for yourself - you won't be disappointed.
The Bow Bells Public House – East LondonIt was very difficult to find Central Asian restaurant in London, that it why I was so happy to find myself in Samarqand. We spent a lovely evening there enjoying atmosphere, good service and fantastic lamb soups and plov!
SamarQand Bar & Restaurant – West LondonDishonest and disappointing.I went to Gazette with my (9 months pregnant) wife last Friday night. I'm a member of the Gourmet Society, and according to their website, you can get 2 meals for the price of one. There were conditions, to use the card on Fridays you need to book on the day, and mention that you'll be using the card. I did all of these things, and the man I booked with said it was fine. All good. However, when we went to Gazette and ordered our meal the waiter looked a bit blank at us, and went to find the Manager. When I showed the Gourmet Card to the Manager, it was met with a Gallic shrug and a 'we don't do that'. He then turned on his heels and walked off, and we never saw him again. We were made to pay full price for our meal.I am very disappointed with the way we were treated in Gazette. It is dishonest, pure and simple. It's a shame, as we've recently moved to a house about 10 minutes walk from Gazette, and we would definitely have gone again, and would have recommended it to our friends as the food was really good. However, all I will do now is tell everyone how rude, dishonest and money-grabbing they are at Gazette. Their loss.
Gazette – BatterseaI absolutely love this place, the food is very tasty! The sushi and sashimi is of great quality but there are also lots of other choices. You can sit at a normal table but I love booking the teppanyaki table for special occasions as the chefs cook in front of you. It's also in a lovely area close to Oxford street. Highly recommended!
Defune Restaurant – MaryleboneThis is such a gem of a watering hole in central London that I feel I should keep it to myself but, vraiment, c'est le meilleur bar au centre de Londres ..... impeccable!
