We had an excellent meal here in May 2007 before going over to the Adelphi. The Pie Restaurant caught our eyes and our noses! There was plenty of choice and at reasonable prices, around £7-9. The only negative was the service. The place was full and there were only 2 girls waitressing AND serving at the bar! The bar was covered in dirty glasses that had been collected, we queued for ages to put our order in and couldn't get their attention during the meal at all. Despite this the food came quickly and was delicious. We would go again although I hope the manager employs more staff to cover a busy bank holiday saturday night!

Have eaten here quite a few times and have to say the food is really good, the staff are very friendly and if you want to try more authentic Thai dishes ask for the Thai menu! They also sell Chang Beer not just Singha.

What a litte gem this restaurant is! We were so pleased we found it, off the beaten track, away from all the names and chains of Oxford Street and the area. Authentically Iranian, swift service and extremely reasonably priced. It was great to watch the bread being made in the oven just inside the door. Will definitely seek this place out again! It is highly recommended Korean restaurant in London Soho. Many Chinese and Japanese people come to this restaurant. Not too many Koreans... I would like to recommend Dumpling(Gyuja)and Kalbi(BBQ beef ribs), Bibimbap(hot stonebowl) Friday, Saturday are too busy. Maybe you have to book before coming there.

A frequent this cafe with my work colleagues, the curries are exceptionally good and very inexpensive. The staff are friendly and professional. Pop by the Alwyne opposite for a drink on your way home - a perfect night out for cheap!

CJ's is famous for it's wholesome English breakfast. It also serves the most fantastic Malaysian and Thai food for lunch. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I'm a regular for 14years! Highly recommended.

This is my favourite Indian restaurant. Small, but with very friendly waiters and really good food that will never let you down. Good for romantic dinners as is not crowded and never noisy. They also have takeaway.

Richoux on Brompton Road is one of my favourite restaurants, and I make a point of going there whenever I visit London (whether I decide to walk across the street to Harrods or not!). Richoux has the most comfortable, casual elegance in ambience and decor, has great servers who are always pleasant, and, of course, good food. I confess I have not been to Richoux for dinner, but for breakfast, lunch or tea, it is one of the most comfortable places for a solo-traveling female to dine. I think many local residents are customers there, as well -- and that says a lot to me. I took some pictures this time (April 2007) so I can remember the look and feel of Richoux til the next time!

Visitors to London should avoid the centre and head to Belsize park for this intimate dining experience. Exquisite food, friendly staff and great prices. Start with crab then venture into the duck with amazing salt sculptures to tease the eye from the sensory overload one gets from the sheer array of spices tingling the tastebuds. Heated outside tables will be welcomed by smokers once the ban arrives on 1st July! HIGH POINTS: eclectic menu and decent wine list. LOW POINTS: limited access for physically disabled diners.

I had a chance to visit this intimate latin infused salsa club while on holiday in London and had a great time with my friends. The music was great and so was the service.

This is a little gem of a fish and chip restaurant tucked away off the Whitechapel Road. everything is fresh, nicely cooked and presented well with a good East-end friendly atmosphere. One of the best that I've tried. Lots of grilled choices so you don't have to have fried stuff.

Lovely warm atmosphere on a rainy, grey spring day! The young staff were welcoming and seemed pleased to help and give advice on items on the menu (which catered to all tastes, including vegetarians, I noticed). Service was prompt and courteous. My partner and I decided to move directly into our main course, although the selection of starters was adequate. My wild mushroom risotto was really lovely! Served in a good sized plain white plate, it was served piping hot and carefully decorated. I could smell the mushroom aroma before my first forkful, and I was not disappointed. In my experience, it's fairly unusual to be able to pick out the freshness of the ingredients, these days. I could taste every piece of mushroom and the stock was definitely home-made. The Parmesan was used discreetly - no drowning out the other tastes in this dish! My partner chose the lamb. It was very nicely presented and, judging by the clean plate, this too was a highly successful choice! We had a long drive ahead, so chose not to have any of the wines. There's a more than adequate choice, though. Finally, the highlight of a truly good meal . . . the chocolate tartlets. If these were the only item on the menu, they would be sufficient reason to return to The Enterprise!

My husband and I had dinner at MU last night. As I had read many good reviews I thought the place would be perfect for a romantic gourmet dinner. We had a cocktail beforehand in the MJU BAR, The French "Garcon" gave us good advice on the menu and wines. I was a bit disappointed by the restaurant room which was too big and lacked "personality". We had the the Taster Menu, with the Taster wines. The food was an absolute delight, and the wines were perfectly appropriate. Service was amazing, waiters and waitresses everywhere. As soon as your plate was empty it was gone. I would definitely recommend MJU if you want a Gourmet evening. But if you are looking for a romantic meal, it is not the right restaurant, as there always is someone looking over your shoulder and there are no cosy little corners to hold hand while eating

Absolutely gobsmackingly chop-licking food. For ex-HongKongers who miss good homecooking. The chilli sauce which may be supplied on request is more-ishly sweet, then tangy then wham-bam-kick on the tongue. Every dish excels and I'll watch the weight creep on as I eat my way through the menu. My personal favourite - the wonderful Hainan chicken rice is reminiscent of the Malaysian hawker markets with a pungent raw garlic finish to the additional side-sauce. You see the ravenous homesick overseas students, the romantic lovers, the sophisticated morsel-tasters, pallid office-workers, busy Holborn executives, bored housewives, note-taking critics all here for their fix of Oriental food. You get service with personality here from the friendly attentive all-female staff. Pricewise the cost is more than normal but the dishes are almost double-size, they are great value overall. Heavenly! Go now.

Incredibly large plates of food. I couldn't eat 3/4 of mine. It was quite tasty, I love their beancurd dishes all covered in sauce. The vegetarian fried rice is also yummy with sesame oil drizzled through. I'd recommend it for work-dos.

I can honestly say the meal I had here was excellent excellent excellent. Not your regular Italian food you get from a chain but really delicious food. I had the lobster linguine and my wife had the seabass. Good cooking!

I was just passing by and had a try. What a good service, nice atmosphere! Hopefully it will succeed!
