I took my family to the Man at Arms last week and had a wonderful time. Each steak was cooked to perfection and the desserts were unforgettable.

Great as usual, timely service, polite staff, unable to fault. Decent honest food.

Had a nice table although it was close to the speaker which was a bit loud. The food was really good, nachos to share as a starter with pot of chilli. We had 2 steaks with bottle of house red which was fab. Steaks cooked well and my hubby said they were the best he'd had for a long while! Son had a chicken dish which he really enjoyed. Puddings were good too. All in all an enjoyable meal. We were told that we only had the table for certain amount of time which was a bit off putting but this wasn't enforced as we were still eating. Would definitely return.

We booked a meal on line for Saturday night when we arrived greeted at the door all Covid 19 in place meal was fantastic chips too hot to eat steak cooked to perfection as always staff were very happy all organised well finished off with my usual americarno which the manager brought to me excellent night

The food was good except one of the steaks was well over done and when this was mentioned to the waitress the response of "what can i do about it?" Wasn't exactly brilliant. Other than that it was good

Had a 32oz T bone steak. Cooked very well, pink in the middle, thick and tasty. Chips were lovely too. Quite a simple meal - just as I wanted it. Have eaten here numerous times, always fantastic.

We walked in the front door and out via the back door, hand gel on arrival. Check in was fine and food was ordered by app. Service was really prompt and all 4 of us were happy with our food. I had the 24oz rump which was superbly cooked to med/rare and was so tender. Family had another 12oz rump, burger and a chicken fajitas ( wow) - all in all we had a lovely night and a great meal. Thank you!

On arrival we were 2nd in the queue, the people in front us had not booked. The member of staff who was assisting them spent a good 10 minites on the computer looking for a table for them. Having found them a table the member of staff proceeds to the bar to take their order. Leaving the rest of the queue standing, some outside in the rain. Apart from an over cooked pork chop on my superman mixed grill everything else was good. (staff very friendly)

The Man at Arms is my go to option if we want great food. The meat is ALWAYS superb quality and cooked to perfection, the staff are polite and attentive without being in your face every five minutes, personally I reckoned the king Henry 24ox steak or the megaman mixed grill but do not cone over without your appetite. The ordering app is brilliant and simple to use. Team are trying hard to work with covid restrictions and doing a great job.

Covid rules not being applied. 3 doors all in and out. No one way system. No social distancing. No member of staff wearing a mask\face covering. Had to go to bar to order food and drinks. App made too complicated so not being used by anyone while we were there. Staff wandering between tables. Staff leaning across customers at their table. Only saw 1 hand gel at 1 door.

Had to wait 40 minutes to be seated at our table, even though we had booked. Service was great as was my fillet steak! My husbands 24oz T-bone steak was served raw at first, so was sent back to get a medium cook. When it was returned it was overcooked and tough. The mushrooms had a big ball of what looked like compost in amongst them. Made a complaint and were given an apology. Were not offered any discount and we paid the bill in full. Would not go back!

Always good value, and a wide array of menu choice. Staff were helpful and polite as usual.
