Lovely meal but, like last time, portions were far far too big . Such a waste of tasty food but a “doggy box” was kindly offered to us to take the whitebait home. Couldn’t do that with the chips though!

The Chequers Inn – LymingtonA lovely early evening meal for 2. The rugby was on and so there was a great atmosphere. The pub was busy enough but not overly so. Our food was tasty and plentiful. The servers were very friendly and smiley. It is the third time we have been here and it certainly won't be our last.

However, my wife and children enjoyed their ‘standard’ pub meals (burger, scampi etc). Service was fine but not very attentive. Booked on line and received confirmation, but like other reviews they had not received the booking so it’s best to phone. We’ve enjoyed better meals at this pub in the past and like the garden so will likely return.
