My husband and I spent a lovely afternoon yesterday at Lytham Hall, we had booked afternoon tea there which was delicious. Such a lovely experience, lovely food, tea, surroundings and very thoughtful, helpful and professional staff, they are a credit to your organisation. Lilibet’s Afternoon Tea Emporium at Lytham Hall – LythamWe were gifted a gold afternoon tea for Christmas last year, and due to moving house were not able to redeem it until November this year. The Christmas decorations were just going up so we were not able to look around the rest of the house. We found the afternoon tea quite disappointing, and the quality of the food not up to standard. The scones were particularly disappointing and dry. The staff were lovely and the service good, but overall the standard of the food was a great disappointment.

The food was plentiful and tasty, warm scones, clotted cream, sandwhiches, cakes and endless amounts of tea and coffee. We indulged in a glass of Procecco (optional). The service was excellent. We have afternoon tea in the Library which is always of the best quality and the most attentive service and then visit the Hall to see what the new Xmas theme is.
