Red Fort – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.

Red Fort – LythamEaten here twice recently and enjoyed it on both occasions. Basic Italian menu with good service and value. Recommend the 'Lytham Square' pizza.
Bosco – LythamOur favourite Lytham restaurant. High quality food, wide variety to choose from excellent menu. Staff very friendly and always make a special effort to make us feel welcome. Well done guys!
Red Fort – LythamMyself and four friends ate at Red Fort on Wednesday for the first time and we will definitely return. Absolutely everything about the restaurant is fantastic from the warm welcome, the amazing food and the decor. The staff were extremely helpful and explained certain dishes to one of the group who had never tasted Indian food before. This has got to be one of the best Indian Restaurants in the area.
Red Fort – LythamMy group have visited many, many curry houses over the years but the Red Fort takes Indian cuisine to the next level of service, quality and above all flavour. The traditional dishes are excellent but some of the “specials” are out of this world, with tastes you would just not believe. The Red Fort comes extremely highly recommended. It is well worth a special trip if you do not live in the area.
Red Fort – LythamUpon entering the restaurant you immediately receive a warm welcome from the staff. Whilst enjoying a drink you have plenty of time to peruse the extensive menu. If you need to ask about any of the ingredients in some of the dishes, Ahad and the team are more than happy to assist. The service at the table is excellent and the food at the Red Fort is second to none. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys really good Indian food.
Red Fort – LythamGreat food, lovely helpful staff - definitely recommended! I went with 2 friends and we had the early bird menu - a lovely surprise because we thought we'd have 3 or 4 choices, but we could actually choose any dish from the main menu (though it was clearly explained that certain things would be slightly more). I would definitely eat here again - YUM!
Red Fort – LythamHaving had the good fortune to visit many Indian restaurants in the UK, I can honestly say that this is by far and away the best I have been to. I am now a regular visitor and often look to try a different dish from their extensive menu and have yet to find one to disappoint. The food is excellent, great taste and cooked well and the service is always superb.
Red Fort – LythamAttended here last week. Poor service and poor food. Frankly the place is full of Hooray Henry's which I do not doubt the name derives from. That's all a shame as ive eaten here before some weeks back and all was well, apart from the service. The owner really should invest in some good waiting on staff instead of employing kids. When we asked about wine, they were clueless, ditto the main meal and if it had nut traces as my wife is allergic. Sad to say I wont be recommending this venue here or to my employees.
Henry’s – LythamHad a superb lunch at Bosco on Sunday. My girlfriend had Garlic Mushrooms and Penne Arrabiata; I had goats cheese crostini and Risotto. The food was excellent with the garnish freshly picked from the plant - a great touch. As it was lunch we stuck to coke - even that was from a glass bottle. The ambiance is great; the food stunning and the service first class. Our first visit but believe me we will be back and will recommend it to all.
Bosco – LythamI visited Red Fort for 1st time on Sunday evening and enjoyed the food very much. I visited many Indian restaurants but i found this was the best. I am from India myself originally and food taste like back home. Service and environment was excellent.
Red Fort – Lythamwhen its good its very good but some times its really disappointing very greasy,
Whelans – Lythamquality food, generous portions and nice welcome and friendly service......
The Lytham Kitchen – LythamAfter reading a number of recommendations I visited Ego tonight whilst on a business trip. Warm welcome, friendly efficient service. Excellent food at a reasonable price. What more could you want.
Ego Mediterranean Restaurant – LythamTremendous food - high quality, matched by the service. Quiet music in the background does not intrude on the experience and the new decor is as tasteful as the food.
Red Fort – LythamAmazing food, the best Italian restaurant I have been to in a long while and would certainly recommend, I had the sirloin of beef with peppercorn sauce which was mouthwatering and will definitely be having again. It is on the pricey side but the food was so good I didn't mind paying a bit more. Staff and owner really friendly, excellent service, fantastic restaurant, cannot praise the food enough.
Novello – LythamI cannot express my delight with Novello! The food was the best by far, the service extremely friendly and we all felt so comfortable all night! The whole feeling of the restaurant and staff was warm and inviting. Highly recommend Novello as the food was excellent!! Will be going on a regular basis!!
Novello – LythamBeen here a number of times - Last time I went thought the standard had become distinctly average- although not much competition in Lytham Zest was freezing no heating whatsoever - and noone had cleared ice at front -it was treacherous. Ordered scrambled eggs on bagel with bacon. Arrived without bacon so dish taken back for first time. No real problem Arrived back - scrambled eggs were solid -they were described on menu as fluffy. Dont know if they were microwaved or bought in mix but they were inedible. Sent back for second time came back shredded and with a raw bagel and the bacon i had sent back but strangely warmer than before. Should have sent back again -couldn't be bothered but worst breakfast I have eaten and I would have preferred to have gone to a greasy spoon but wouldn't have ended up with small change from £20.00 Overall front of house staff were pleasant but the food is getting worse -how anyone could have let the food past that pass defies belief. Zest is in the best location in Lytham and has a captive audience who dont really want that much: but the quality is poor and I wouldnt recommend Zest on this performance -The kitchen needs to do alot better
