Allotment Xmas party for over 40 people was enjoyed by all. Food options were excellent, service great and all the staff deserve credit, especially Amelia who hosted the event with superb customer service. We will be back again soon.

Excellent meal on Friday evening. I had a dish recommended by the owner like a Jalfrezi. Quality sauce and chicken. Good sides too and efficient service!

I held my retirement party at the Station on Friday 6th December 2019. The buffet food was excellent. Very well prepared, lots of it and very well presented. The staff could not do enough to make this a really enjoyable evening for me and my guests. Lots of staff at the bar which made it quick and sample to get a round of drinks despite it being very busy. Thank you to the management and all the staff for making this a very memorable event.

The attitude of the management and staff reflects the quality throughout . Six of us had dinner and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our food ..backed up with excellent service.

We did the 1.5 hour bottomless brunch. The food was fantastic and I enjoyed the Prosecco immensely.

Fantastic meal by Campbell and Rowley. Braised steak and a fine cheeseboard for the wonderful Eddie Jones book launch. Great day!

Meal for 8 was good. Staff attentive in spite of being full pub because if lytham lights switch on! Only gripe - not enough rice came with curry & we were told we would have to pay for extra ( although she found us some f o c. Will recommend and return

Visited on Sunday 10th November for lunch, we have never been before but saw it on the Internet & the menu sounded good. We had booked as it was Remembrance Sunday & there was a 10k run going on but it wasn't as busy initially as we thought it would be. After being shown to our table we perused the menu & decided to have the Hot sandwich, one a Steak Ciabatta & the other a pulled pork Ciabatta, my husband also had a mug of soup for £1. When the food arrived it looked really good on the platter & the taste didn't disappoint, the chips were good & plentiful, the salad nice & the ciabattas got the thumbs up from both of us. Throughout our meal the Pub was getting busier with families & couples alike, we were asked if everything was ok with our meals & if we required anything else. We have already recommended the Station to a few people & we will most definitely be back ourselves.

Red Rose

Had a lovely lunch at the Shambles outside in the winter sun yesterday watching the world go by. My soup and open sandwich were very good and the young waiter very efficient and friendly. It looks very pleasant too, and in a great location in Lytham.

We booked a meal for 11. The area they have us was great. The service and food ww wonderful.

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat, arguably the best lahmacun i have had in a long time! service was great and everything was very professional. loved the decor

had a lovely meal here with family, atmosphere was great, service with a smile food was lovely too thank you we will be back next year

We booked stating 1 vegan guest and 1 vegan / gluten free guest, on arrival the server could not find the vegan menu, when she did find it she pointed out that the baked potato was not available, we asked for the allergen sheets and were told they did not have any, when we insisted they had to have them they were found, only to not contain the allergens for the vegan menu. On checking with the kitchen we were told that there was nothing for the vegan / gluten free diner [not sure why wheat would be in a lentil shepherd's pie or veg chilli] my daughter was then offered a sandwich, when we enquired what they planned to put on the sandwich and if the bread was vegan we drew a blank, and again told the bread contained egg. My daughter was then offered just hummus and chips. When we went to the bar for drinks we waited over 5 minutes to then be told the bar person could not make coffee he had not been trained. Our food took almost 1 hour to arrive with the server stating sorry the machine was broken ? When the food did arrive it was only 2 of the 3 main courses and my daughter's chips, almost 6 minutes later my daughters hummus arrived I still did not have any food, my food arrived over 12 minutes after the others so I had to eat while the other had finished. Incidentally 3 other tables surrounding ourselves were served long before us and they all arrived after. Very disappointed with the whole experience. We did note they seemed very under staffed and stressed. The only plus was the server did remain frindly and polite throughout.

We had booked a table for 5.30pm and were only served our food after 7pm! Utterly shocking service. Admittedly this was one of the lytham festival nights however, the pub clearly couldn’t cope with the volume of customers and should have planned for this. We were not kept informed of any delays and after asking we were told they had all their staff working and they were going as fast as they could but to have to wait for an hour and half after ordering is not acceptable. They had clearly overbooked. The food came one plate at time which slowed things down even more and was only ok, nothing to shout about. We did get a free round of drinks and cash back for the inconvenience however this didn’t make up for being delayed for the rest of our plans before the main event. We will not be returning.
