Always my destination of choice when back in Lytham. Good coffee, very tasty food, great view out of the windows. My cheese and ham toastie and sweet potato chips were bob on!
The Lytham Kitchen – Lytham
Away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lytham holds essential ingredients. The Windmill, Lytham Green, Lytham Hall and the River Ribble estuary overlooking the Welsh mountains are all worthy of a postcard. A host of up-market restaurants will tickle your tastebuds.

The Lytham Kitchen – LythamHad a lovely meal in Lytham's newest restaurant Bangkok Thai. Enjoyed the green papya salad especially.
Bangkok Thai – LythamBosco was ace last night. Really like it here, perfect for a filling meal after a long weekend.
Bosco – LythamWe very much enjoyed our evening in Spago last night. I think it is the best looking venue in Lytham but wasn't sure about the food. However our meal was excellent. Risotto, seabass, croquets and the veloute were all perfectly cooked. Good to see Felix in the kitchen and seafood is his speciality. Service was efficient and the house Rioja was very good value indeed.
Spago Lytham – LythamThe newly refurbed Taps is looking great! A bigger and better al fresco area, increased seating inside and a feminized modernisation that hasn't compromised the integrity of this famous pub. They had my favourite beer on last night, Windermere Pale Ale. While we were there the landlord was presented with The CAMRA Lancashire best pub award. Well done to all. Looking forward to trying the new increased menu options. Cheers.
The Taps – LythamHad a great meal. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Many thanks. Andy.
Station Pub and Grill – LythamHad a very tasty take away last night from Mohshinas. Will definitely use it regularly.
Mohshinas Indian Restaurant – LythamHad two lovely lunches with my son at Park View Café. He very much enjoyed his food after playing on the park for an hour or two. My soup and sarnie was pleasant too. A good option with kids!
Park View 4U Cafe – LythamOn our first visit to Lytham we called in at Whispers and have hardly been out of the place since. The food is wonderful and the staff are all lovely. We will continue to eat there at least once a week.
Whispers – LythamWe visited Lytham today and were looking for somewhere pleasant to eat when we noticed Bosco. Although we only had a very light lunch, it was very very nice and the waitress, Emily, was so pleasant and helpful - it was an absolute pleasure to eat and drink there - outside in the sunshine. We shall certainly return when we next visit Lytham.
Bosco – LythamI joined a few friends last Friday for afternoon tea. We were celebrating Mrs Mary Morris' 100th birthday. We had a first class table overlooking Lytham Green. The selection of sandwiches, scones, cakes etc was excellent and plentiful and the staff very courteous and attentive. I would certainly recommend this venue.
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamEnjoyed a great takeaway from the Red Fort last night.
Red Fort – LythamI've just read all the excellent comments about The Red Fort and sort of feel reluctant to give my comments now. The staff were very friendly and attentive and service was good. Now we do like a lively restaurant but i have to say that on the night we visted for the first time it was honestly beyond lively it was positively rowdy. We couldn't hear each other and kids were throwing some sort of jelly things accross the placeand one hit me on the neck. This isn't what we came in for with friends on a saturday night, it wasn't early either, this was all evening from 8pm, I thought the food was only ok too. We eat regularly at the sister restaurant Mogul in St Annes and that's where we will be sticking to in the future, far superior.
Red Fort – LythamBirthday meal here last night. Nice welcoming atmosphere with the weather so grim outside. Ashamed to say I had one of their oversized Rustica pizzas. ''Twas very good though.
Bosco – LythamWhat a find - lovely Italian food and wine that you won't find elsewhere in the area.
Novello – LythamI took my mother and family to the Clifton Arms in Lytham for an early Mothers Day afternoon tea. We had lovely comfy seats in the main lounge area and we were well attended by the staff. A good selection of sandwiches, scones and assorted treats. We opted for the extra glass of champagne. Mother really enjoyed it which is the main thing. I think there could have been a bit more food, however I would recommend the experience.
Clifton Arms Hotel – LythamMy wife and I were very impressed with Mohshinas. I was desperate for the loo on entering and my first impressions were how clean the place was. They have a 5 star rating for hygiene and it shows. The place is intimate and cosy with out about 10 tables and that is why the service and food is so good. The standout thing about the food was how fresh it was, the garlic roti and curries. The owner is a nice guy and seems to know everyone's name. We will return and will recommend it as a superior Indian restaurant. One of the best we have been to.
Mohshinas Indian Restaurant – LythamHad a late afternoon meal; pasta dish for my partner and a gourmet burger for me. Excellent service and first rate food, with a bill including coffee and sparkling water of £25. First rate: the pasta was one of the best my partner has tasted.
