Had a fantastic meal saturday night with family and friends. Couldn't fault the food or ambience. Couple of waiters a little po faced but our waiter Ernie, more than made up. Service was slick despite it being a busy night, we will certainly be back.

Brilliant, recommend a visit to this cafe / resturant. Consistent excellent quality food. Staff are always polite, efficient and their service is quick, but thorough. Any requests are met if they can. If you are in lytham make sure you visit.

Second visit to Spago and had another great night. What I hadn’t realised was that this place has so many different areas, each of which has its own particular vibe going on. There’s outside dining areas at the front to watch the world go by and in a private courtyard at the back, tables near the open kitchen, a big bar area, a section with booths, a large table in the window and a big round table at the back which would be great for a group.

Thank you Spago for a lovely lunch. Everything was just perfect.

Just had a breakfast, it was awful. The plates were cold the toast was stale the poached eggs weren't cooked. We sent them back and the meal wasn't any better. The bacon was smoked which wasn't specified on the menu and the food quality overall was substandard. The laugh of it was that the sausages are so small they are cut in half to fill the plate.

Have heard mixed reviews about Spago since it opened recently in Lytham but on the evidence of our visit on Friday it may just have been the usual teething problems when you open a new venue. We had a great night with a lovely table in the window that looked out onto Henry Street and the square. Our waiter was friendly and very much on the ball and then menu is quite substantial with lots of interesting choices. Food was good, prices were very reasonable and it’s a smart looking venue with a buzzy vibe. Recommended and we will be back soon.

Very average food a bit disappointed to be honest. I was expecting some good food like back home in Washington DC, however it was nothing like it. Being a Yank I would say they could do with getting some real American meals on the table maybe watch a little Man vs Food for ideas and some better US BEERS " just saying" overall I would give it a 5/10. Thanks.

Sunday fish and chips were good. Ruddles was as good as ever and my wife enjoyed her chicken on a skewer. The best place for a cheap eat with good beer in Lytham.

Good burger and Buffalo Tray. Liked the German beer too, cannot remember the name though.

Had lovely meal authentic Italian the staff were very attentive and friendly only complaint was an extra bottle of wine added to a very straightforward bill of two main courses and two coffees in a reasonably quiet restaurant top tip always check your bill

Four of us had a two course lunch on 2nd September.We had Chicken Kiev which was excellent but there was only one choice of sweet which was Pear tarte which was reasonable but when it came to the bill the drinks were too dear, £3.25 for a tomato juice and £4+ for 1/2 pint of shandy. Shall eat there again but without the drinks.

lovely meal in Spago on Sunday night, a great end to a great weekend!

Enjoyed a nice bite to eat here last Saturday, cod and fat chips is always a winner.

My first time in the Taps for a long while last night. It seems quieter than it was, however I thought the beer spot on. Taps Best still a great pint. I notice they now offer pies which is good for blotting beer! Staff were very friendly and efficient. I will be going more regular again from now on.

There are two inescapable reasons to visit The Coffee Bean. One is of course (arguably) the best and most varied selections of all types of teas and coffee in Lytham (if not the Fylde) and secondly, the most delightful and friendliest service you will ever receive anywhere. I have been visiting the Coffee Bean for over 15 years. There is nothing better than a Brazilian (coffee) , watching the World go by. Don't take my word for it....try it yourself.......you`ll soon come to realise what you`ve been missing...........Enjoy.. . .

I enjoyed my sarnie from the Park View 4 U Cafe. A bustling litte place within this great park.

The food was excellent, but this was let down by the utterly dreadful service.

Spago looks fab. Upmarket and sophisticated vibe. Food presented very well and tasted as good. Service very shoddy, bordering on rude. Amazed I had to get out of the way of the waiters and manager , rather than the other way round. Happened twice and that's a first in all the years I have been eating in restaurants. No thanks either.
