Lovely little bistro/cafe, ate on my own whilst away with work, felt comfortable as a woman on my own, had seafood platter (£8.95) that was gorgeous and easily as good as I've had in far more expensive. great home made cakes for pudding and lovely coffee.

We visited the Red Fort today for the first time and were made welcomed from the moment we stepped through the door. The staff couldn't do enough for us from the moment we entered. I am vegetarian the the selection was extremely versatile. I had the loveliest aubergine starter I have ever tasted. Both my husband and I were delighted with the cuisine and the interior was immaculate. We will go back without hesitation. Highly recommended.

This truly is a first class culinary experience. From the minute you enter the restaurant, which is very tastefully decorated, you become part of this experience. The staff are not only efficient but also friendly. The preparation of the ingredients and the subtle blending of the spices do indeed place this restaurant at the top of the premier league. When the food arrives at the table you feel that this food has been prepared individually with you, the customer, in mind. For this reason you should carefully read the menu and decide when you arrive, not in advance, because there is something to suit all tastes and in each visit you will want to try something different depending on the frame of mind you are in. Everything is excellent - we cannot see you being disappointed!

I cannot believe how unwelcome myself, daughter, 2 daughters in law and 2 grand daughters were made to feel when we visited yesterday for icecreams. I am so disgusted that I feel I have to write and make a comment. The lady owner needs to learn some manners and not jump in to make a comment to her customers. My daughter in law was speechless. I wish now I would have made a complaint at the time. In these difficult times she should be pleased that her customers are prepared to pay over £8 for 3 icecreams. I will never again set foot in this place, and will also tell my friends not to bother too.

The first time my family and I ate here, the food and service was good. Although having been on several occasions since, I have found that the standard of both have drastically deteriorated. On my last, and most definitely final, experience at Portofino, my friend and I were left in the waiting area for 20 minutes without being offered a drink. When we were finally shown to our (wobbly) table our starters were brought to us and before I had finished eating, my plate was taken away as I was abruptly told that my main course was coming. I ordered a linguini dish and had to wait around as they had forgotten to bring me a spoon. The meals were tasteless and not once did a waiter/waitress come to our table to offer more drinks or ask if the meal was OK. Instead they proceeded to congregate in front of our table and squabble amounts themselves. We shall not eat here again. If you want a good Italian restaurant, go to Bosco or Sapori, they are both superb.

Excellent food and really friendly, attentive staff make eating here a pleasure - very highly recommended.

Delicious food and friendly staff. After many visits and far too many choices I think my favourites are Lamb Zaflong and Chicken Mandakini...so far!

My husband and I visited the Red Fort for the first time and it certainly won't be our last! Very friendly staff and lovely decor, especially with the mood lighting! The food was of the highest quality and excellent value for money. My husband said his lamb pathia was the best he's tasted in the whole of the Fylde (and believe me- he's had a few!) Highly recommended.

First visit, really good food, cheerful staff and got a complimentary sample dish to try which was lovely. Will definitely return!

My wife and I have just been to Red Fort where we had an excellent meal; the food and service were first class. The modern decor and general cleanliness serve to enhance an already top-notch venue.

We have dined in the Restaurant several times and also used the takeaway service. On each occasion the food as been excellent and the staff are efficient and very polite. Friends we have taken have also been impressed.

We have been regular customers of the Red Fort for some years. Very friendly and attentive staff, excellent food and an attractive and welcoming atmosphere.

This is now my regular indian restaurant. The staff are always polite & efficient, the decor is superb, and the food is spectacular. I've never had a bad meal. The menu contains many unique dishes, of which the Chicken Jalalabadhi is my favourite. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Try it; you won't be disappointed.

Usually a decent pizza, but the last time we ordered the pizza was burnt, dry and flavourless. Top tip guys, if the pizza is black on top, bin it and start again, or you lose customers.

Just been for another lovely meal at the red fort. Never had a bad meal yet. The early bird at £8.95 was value for money. Still one of my favourites.
