Ate lunch here twice in recent weeks, once in the bar area and once in the restaurant. Both times the food was very good. It did take a while to arrive but once it did it was well worth the wait! I can happily recomend the open fillet steak sandwich and the club sandwich too! Will return soon!!

We have never had a bad meal here. Food and service always excellent and sometimes we have been offered a complementary dish to try which is very welcoming. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food is ok but very overpriced. The Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare that I had contained 2 scallops, 2 King Prawns and some pieces of squid and cost £13.95 which I felt was excessive.

The Taps always has a good selection of beers, ales, etc., a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are friendly.Last night when I visited it wasn’t too busy but it still had its usual atmosphere. I saw a new cider they were doing which I hadn’t come across called Cheddar Valley – I thought it was a cheesy drink at first until I saw Traditional Cider in smaller print below.A great taste of Somerset in a great Lancashire pub.

Visited Capri in Lytham for the first time on Friday evening and, oddly enough, it reminded me of the Mandarin Oriental in Prague. We went there for our honeymoon a few years back just after it had opened and loved the way it juxtaposed the old (a medieval monastery) with the new (a super-cool modern and minimal interior). On a very different scale, Capri is trying to do something similar with a modern city-style lounge bar hidden away inside the most traditional of Lytham buildings. Don't bother ordering a takeaway for delivery unless you order hours in advance. Food arrives cold and at a cost. Other local Indian restaurants will deliver free, and quickly. Eating in the restaurant however is very good for both service and food.

Awesome selection of beers, especially cask ale. Can't argue with the prices either. Food good for the price too. No wonder Wetherspoons is a market leading pubco

This is a new Indian that’s opened in Lytham at what used to be the Thai place on Henry Street. My friend and I dropped in late Friday night after a few beers around town and had a very good meal there. If you like spicy dishes, try their Chicken Special. The owner is a friendly chap too and I’m sure this place will do well. Recommended.

First visit for breakfast yesterday - very poor service. Although seated and order taken efficiently waited over half an hour for food - then only toast brought to table which wasn't hot then breakfast came - nothing special, then finally got our teas. Expensive for quality and service. As we were waiting customers were leaving and complaining!

Enjoyed my lunch in Zest today in lovely surroundings. This really is a place where ladies lunch, we were the only 2 blokes in there I think.

Perfect vegaterian breakfast (large) enjoed at Java with friends on a beautiful staurday morning (8th Sept 12) sitting outside in the sun. Being a big Man utd fan it was even better when Ryan Giggs sat down to eat on the table next to me and my friends. Java is a great place to eat and the food was scrumptious.

My Nanny went in this afternoon with my daughter and son for one of the wonderful home made ice creams. After finding a table inside as there were no tables outside she ordered an ice cream for herself and my daughter and a juice for my son. The juice came in a lovely plastic cup with a straw and my son sat beautifully and drank it. He then caught the base of the cup on a ridge in the table and spilt it. My nanny asked for a serviette and was told rudely the female owner someone would have to clear it up and that it would have to be mopped properly. Fair enough but surely a serviette wouldn't have been too much of a problem. A poor waitress brought a mop and bucket to be hollered at by her boss that it needed to be done properly with a wet mop then a dry mop. My nanny in the meantime had now been made to feel very awkward by the female and male owner. She was then told and I mean told, to move outside. She didn't and moved to another table inside whilst the area was mopped properly. My daughter and herself finished their ice creams feeling like naughty children. Even the woman on the table next to them commented on the way in which she had been disgustingly treated. I rang to lodge a complaint about the way she was treated and was told that my Nanny hadn't even apologised for the the spillage. Sorry? What was she apologising for? Accidents happen!! She, nor I would ever return to this cafe even if the ice creams were free. Disgusting customer service and overpriced!!

I really enjoyed my time at Capri in Lytham, so much that I returned the very next day with a new set of friends!

waited for the opening fuss to die down before trying this venue, as a substitute for The Trawlboat. All was good, our order was correct, well cooked and up to the usual standard. service was good, and we hit a quiet spell. we liked the modern interior. parking could be a problem but we got parked on the road opposite. this new eaterie should give others a bit of competition and the local small shops should get a bit more footfall too. well done JD's

had an excellent lunch with my wife at the weekend. The pizzas are really good, something of a speciality, and the pasta with king prawns was great too, recommended!!

Visited this cafe at 4.30 on Fri afternoon. Was greeted very warmly by a nice gentleman i presume was the owner. Only really wanted a quick cup of tea but was tempted by him to have a piece of cake too. Was then served by a woman who i can safely say is the rudest and most miserable looking individual i have had the misfortune to meet! I assume she is the owners wife as any employee with that attitude would surely be sacked. Needless to say i wont be returning despite the tea and cake being quite nice. Whatever happened to service with a smile?!
