Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldWe dined at Bacchus last night. I ordered the Terrine. When it arrived it looked very insipid but I felt obliged to try it. Terrines are normally encased in jelly. There was none. I cut into it and instead of pieces it was crumbly all the way through. It seemed to taste ok. However, when I arrived home I was violently sick and have been unwell all day. We have been to Bacchus many times but won't be returning.

Add to this an excellent selection of wines and you have a winning formula. We visited last weekend with family to celebrate a special anniversary, and once again had a fabulous time. Don't miss the Fish & Chips first course or Baked Alaska dessert!

Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldOnce again we enjoyed a truly wonderful meal on Sunday. The whole experience was so enjoyable from the moment we arrived to leaving, some 3 hours later. The menu was modern and exciting but with enough traditional dishes to cater to all tastes and the food was cooked to perfection. The staff were all exceptional and the customer service was subtle, friendly and very professional. I don't think you can match the quality of the food, ambience and value for money anywhere else locally. Highly recommended.
