We had a lovely meal here but there were 3 things unavailable from the menu and we were overcharged for the wine.

An excellent little meal . All courses were flavourful and of a reasonable portion size .. the pear, pecan and ginger cake was a particlar hit. Washed down with local brewery Wibbly Wallaby . Courteous,, discrete service Fair pricing

We ate here on Mother’s Day (19.03.2023), and opted for the bottomless brunch. We had the best time, the food was amazing as usual and the Dennis flowed - just what you want from a bottomless brunch! The staff were so accommodating, allowing us to switch things up with our booking and being flexible with us relaxing in the downstairs bar and moving upstairs for food past our booked slot with no issues Would highly recommend, and we will be back!

Took my wife for Mothers day lunch. Food and service excellent. Made a lovely change to gastro pub style !! Cosy and friendly. Definitely go again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We were disappointed with the food. It lacked flair and subtlety. The menu was healthy but what could have been interesting dishes - soup and open sandwiches failed to excite. The almond tart was stodgy and hard to finish. All in all a forgettable meal. We were the only people in the restaurant having a Latisha lunch so there was a lack of atmosphere though the layout of the room was pleasant.

Firstly, the food was lovely. Our drinks and food order was taken in good time, though we did feel that we were rushed. Our table was being cleared as we were still eating, including a plate that was still being eaten from. We therefore didn’t feel that we wanted to stay any longer for another drink.

Excellent service and food

We love everything about Bacchus especially the service. The staff are wonderful attentive but not overpowering. We highly recommend it to everyone we know.
