Absolutely super Bistrot meal before the Saturday matinee. Can’t be faulted. The service was so helpful and keeping you table for the interval drinks is such a great idea. Makes going to Malvern theatre a real pleasure.

Scene – MalvernHad a delightful meal last night prior to opening night of The 39 Steps, the staff were attentive and helpful, without being intrusive. The food was delicious and beautifully cooked. Highly recommended and worth making the time for before seeing any show at Malvern Theatre.
Scene – MalvernFood excellent as always, 3 courses. But a slight slip up, we ordered deserts & tea & coffee for interval of show, all on table when we got back, desert delicious, but, tea & coffee luke warm, and no milk or sugar, nobody about to help, we found a fridge by the bar and helped ourselves to it. Eventually found sugar as well, never happened before, but not good this time.
Scene – MalvernVery good quality main courses at a reasonable price. Could have had two seabass fillets as they were quite small. Chicken supreme did not have the expected sauce though it was tasty. Desserts were a similar good quality, though the passion fruit with chocolate cigar lacked sufficient passionfruit. Service was attentive. Interval drinks at the table are no longer offered which is a shame. Scene was only half full on a Saturday night. A formal restaurant menu was offered, perhaps the informal dining suggested in other advertising, with tapas etc. would appeal to a wider audience. Bistro space is now more separated from the main bar area which is good but it does lack personality and comfortable seating to make it more appealing.
Scene – MalvernMeal prior to Cluedo 2. Staff friendly and efficient. Food well presented and cooked. Restricted choice menu but works well for purpose and clientele. Whitebait amazing - largest pieces I have seen! Reasonable value for money. Will use again.
Scene – MalvernMeal absolutely lovely, service excellent
Scene – MalvernVery tasty, goats cheese salad starter. Sea bass a little over cooked but also tasty. Coffee and tea in the interval. We do visit quite often so a main course change would be nice. It is very convenient and the staff are VERY helpful
Scene – MalvernThe meal and service were excellent as was the location and ambiance. Being able to go back to your restaurant table for the interval to eat the sweet is excellent. Highly recommended.
Scene – MalvernThere were four of us, we enjoyed an excellent meal, well priced and the service provided by the manager who was on his own was also very good and pleasant. We had a lovely night. Thank you.
Scene – MalvernGreat food, a more frequent change of menu would be appreciated.
Scene – MalvernI think I must have visited on an ‘off’ night. The bistro was almost empty. We had a very long wait for food - over half an hour and then it arrived barely hot and both dishes extremely salty. I couldn’t eat much of mine. My friend struggled through. We did complain and the waitress was very apologetic. No time for dessert before the show. No adjustments were made for dietary requirements despite emailing before hand. It was a very poor ‘show’ and I would be reluctant to eat here again.
Scene – MalvernIt really makes a great evening to have a meal as well as seeing a show. We love the Scene Bistro, always a nice selection on the menu, great presentation of food and so tasty. Friendly staff and simple decor gives a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. This has been a lovely treat for us for years. Always feels special and yet familiar. Last visit - pie and mash and a large glass of white wine - what's not to like.
Scene – MalvernLovely food and friendly, helpful people. Great for pre-theatre. Very relaxed atmosphere.
Scene – MalvernVery helpful when booking seats and ordering our meal which we enjoyed.
Scene – MalvernWe enjoyed our pre-theatre meal: the main course of roast duck breast was especially good, though we thought its accompanying forcemeat ball didn’t add much. The vegetables were interesting, tiny mushrooms and nicely cooked kale. The lemon posset that followed was a generous portion and a delicious end of the meal.
Scene – MalvernSuper food. vegan options were absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Thoroughly recommend and so convenient for visiting the theatre.
Scene – MalvernExcellent foods, and excellent service!!!
Scene – MalvernFood presented very well but not cheap waitresses more chat than knowledge about the drinks. comfy seating not too cluttered . As a person with limited mobility the dining in the theatre complex is ideal making the whole experience enjoyable.
