The ox is the future of Manchester entertainment. Away from the pretentious and rammed city centre bars, the Ox is rapidly becoming a new type of bar/pub/restaurant for those in the know who have had enough of rip off bars that take an hour to get served and where the food looks good and tastes terrible. The ox is none of these and is a surprising blend of business types happily mixing with young proffessional urbanites and is also child friendly. The food in my opinion(which I share with my friends) is possibly the best and certainly the most reasonable in town. Whether it be a business lunch or Sunday brunch or an atmosphere for an England game the Ox is not surpassed by any in our city. Keep it up the Ox.

The place was packed as it was friday and there was a jazz band performing. Although the food arrived a bit late they more than made up for it by giving my friend a cake with a candle for her birthday!

Four ladies had an excellent pre-concert meal here. We found the atmosphere was lively, the waiters attentive and the food excellent. we'd definitely go again. June 2002.

Wow, worth a visit just to see the interior of the Gaucho. A fab place to eat if you enjoy your steak. The steaks are always cooked to perfection..To good to miss Don't miss

The food is consistently good in Pizza Express burt what sets them apart from the other chains is the effort they put into the decor. This branch in particular is worth a visit (it's got a more traditional, classic feel to it). If you like spicy food, try the Hot Americano. . .

A fabulous restaurant with a wide and varied menu, a fantastic wine list probably as large and expensive as humanly possible, never the less brilliant! The service is understated beyond belief when called outstanding! it was the first time i had encountered staff who managed to be so polite and proper whilst exercising an admirable sense of humour. A truly wonderful achievemnt and i would definitely strive to make myself a regular however i fear my bank balance would not feel the same pleasure from the ambition!
