Excellent food and service A small problem, a side order of potatoes was served cold but when this was brought to the attention of our waiter he resolved the issue Another thing, we were offered an Italian liquor, I thought it was complimentary, it wasn’t My fault

Fantastic meal all round. Lovely friendly staff. Hopefully will be back next time we are in Manchester. Many thanks to all the staff for making the evening great.

I've been twice before and it was nice. But on this third visit, things went really wrong. The starters arrived, but then the whole restaurant ground to a halt. We waited one hour for the mains to arrive. They didn't. We, along with many other tables, gave up and left. I will still come again as I like the place. But if there is a big concert on at the BWH, I think management need to plan ahead and either staff accordingly, or limit the number of covers. Having been a waiter myself for many years, I felt very sorry for the waiting staff simply unable to cope. I imagine the kitchen was a similarly unhappy place.

This is my sister’s favourite restaurant and what can I say, the girl has taste. Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had and the staff are super friendly and good at what they do. The garlic bread is as big as a regular pizza and the pollo Al formaggio was to die for. End on profiteroles and thank me later. So good I spent two days in Manchester and ate here on both of them.

We had a lovely meal here on a Saturday night before going to a gig at the Ritz nearby. Great food, wonderful service, delightful staff, great decor and atmosphere - highly recommended and we will be back!

Was shown to a table but was quite a while to be served. Only two people seemed to be waiting on customers in the restaurant at the time. Ordered drinks and food and had to ask for my starter of olives 3 times. Food was ok but felt sorry for the staff (or lack of) trying to cope.

When I am working in Manchester at the nearby theatre a between-show visit to Giorgio is a must - pretty much every day! A warm friendly welcome, great and attentive service and of course the most delicious food - this all makes for a special visit every time. Thank you!

Having only 2 staff on duty for evening service to undertake service, respond to telephone takeaway orders & reservation requests, clear tables, take orders, serve food, respond to customer requests and take payment was extremely frustrating (had to wait 15 mins for drinks order to be taken and nearly 60mins to be served main courses), the staff were working their socks off and unfortunately receiving the brunt of customer frustrations where a matre-de or manager should have been on duty. wouldn’t rush back i’m afraid

It was a perfect occasion to entertain my student granddaughter. The food was the best Indian I have had in decades, the staff were attentive and the ambience is friendly and accommodating.

Met up with 9 schoolmates from Cape Town in the seventies and had a fabulous afternoon at Chakalaka on Saturday 14th October 2023. The service was swift, the drinks were flowing and the food was lekker! Thank you guys, what a pleasure. I'll be back

Definitely wouldn't visit again as we had to wait half an hour past our booked time to be seated, and it was over an hour until we got our starter. They were clearly over booked but waiters weren't apologetic, I found a couple of them quite rude. Ordering our food was hard work to communicate what we wanted. Mojito just tasted like soda water. Food was absolutely delicious though!

We visited Giorgio's for the first time on sat 14th oct as we were watching a show just down the road and I was treating my husband for his birthday! We arrived a little late due to traffic but this was no problem, the man who I am assuming is the owner or general manager welcomed us and then walked off, leaving us stood for about 5 minutes wondering what's going on. We could clearly see how busy the restaurant was and how short staffed they were but it was a little frustrating as we were restricted for time! The manager came back over to the desk and just went 'you two, there' and pointed at a table and just walked off.. no showing us to our table or giving us menus. We were sat there for 15 minutes before someone noticed we hadn't been given any menu's or even our drinks order.. we had menus thrown on to our table and left alone again. Our table was originally booked for 5pm but our drinks & food order were finally taken at 5:47pm... again, I appreciate they were short staffed but we were put in a table that was hidden away and witnessed other customers come in after us and served before us and felt like we were forgotten about. Luckily the food came out piping hot and full of flavour! The portion sizes were huge and I couldn't finish all mine but this wasn't an issue. If the food wasn't as good as it was, I would have raised a complaint regarding the service and wait times but it did make up for it. We didn't have time for dessert as we'd waited a ridiculous amount of time to even be served, we had to pay and get straight to the theatre! I had to ask for the bill 3 different times and took another total of 20 minutes to be given, then another 10 minutes to wait till they brought the card machine over. All in all, not the best experience but not the worst. I couldn't help feel guilty for the rest of the night as I felt like it spoilt my husbands birthday.

Welcome and service was impeccable and made for a really enjoyable experience. The food was top notch too, rounded off y an Irish coffee, beautiful! Well done Giorgio's.

This was my second visit to Giorgio’s, firstly with my Mom and yesterday with my daughter, both were for a pre-theatre lunch. On both occasions we were warmly welcomed, the food was delicious served with excellent relaxed, friendly manner. We travel from the West Midlands to Manchester to the theatre and a visit to Georgio’s is a must!

Excellent food and service. The menu isn't as extensive as some but there is still plenty of variety. Highly recommended.
