5* - food was amazing and great portions sizes. Excellent value for money. The staff were 10 out of 10 nothing was to much trouble. Atmosphere and decor warm and inviting. Would definitely recommend and will be retuning when in Manchester again. Thank you.

Love this place from the moment you walk in the staff make you feel so welcome, we had the pre- show 2 course dinner and the food was fab as usual and great value for money, the service was excellent everyone is so attentive checking to make sure everything was ok, was going to a show at the Bridgewater Hall so they made sure that we had time to enjoy our meal and get to the show with plenty of time, thank you again will be back soon.

I booked a table for two at 4.30pm on Wednesday 18th of January and received an email confirming my booking. However, when we arrived at the restaurant it was in darkness and the door was locked. My partner and i then had to find an alternative restaurant to eat before going to the Palace Theatre. I therefore can't review the venue or food but can comment on their terrible customer service. I certainly won't be booking there again.

Went for the pre-theatre dinner. Plenty of choice and generous portions. Great food, great service and good value for money - will definitely be back

Went to Giorgios for food before the theatre and our daughter in laws birthday. Couldn’t fault anything! Service was welcoming and friendly! Food was amazing and decently priced!! Will definitely return

Having eaten here on previous visits to Bridgewater Concerts we were looking forward to a similar enjoyable occasion. Sadly we were disappointed. The menu of 2 courses for £22.50 seemed a little limited but more importantly whilst we felt the staff were excellent, from chef and kitchen staff to waiters etc., particularly the Spanish waiter, we were most disappointed and left most uncomfortable with attitude of the owner / manager who seemed so stressed out but showed this by constantly criticising and shouting at the staff. We would suggest that he starts to value his assets!

Lovely little restaurant! Lovely staff.. my dish however arrived quite a bit later than everybody else's and ended up having to leave majority of it due to going to watch the a performance at the theatre!

We went about 5.30pm before going to watch a gig at the O2 Ritz. We ordered two courses from the pre concert menu. Food was really good, the pate was lovely. Service was very good and it was a very good atmosphere. Food service wasn’t the fastest so if you’re looking for a quick meal then perhaps it’s maybe not the right place. However, as we were very early for our gig it was perfect timing for us, it’s also nice not to feel rushed. Drinks were a little pricey, but suppose that’s pretty standard for city centre.

Staff weee wonderfully attentive. Providing quick and helpful service along with having a bit of fun. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Had the 3 course set menu and portion sizes were great and value for money. Would definitely go back again when I return to Manchester.

For the starters alone I’d have given 5/5 unfortunately everything else dropped it to 2/5 What started of as great service booked 7pm asked to change to 6pm and very accommodating. At 6 we were seated waited for menus ordered drinks and food (5 starters 5 mains). Starters arrived promptly and were first class. Unfortunately down hill from there. When the mains arrived 2 of the portions were a fraction of the size of the others (these being pasta dishes) also missing the chilli asked for they were also barely warm. We had no return visit by a server to offer parmesan or any other accompaniment or ask if we were happy. The only reason comment was not made at the time was to not embarrass family members. It was noted that for a party of 5 the service was poor but an adjacent table of 2 seemed to receive much better service accompaniments and all. Such a shame after such a promising start. Sorry to say we won’t be returning.

Went to Gio’s on Friday with my mum and friends for the three course lunch with Wowcher vouchers. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The food was amazing and good choices available from the Wowcher menu. The restaurant is beautiful with a good atmosphere. The owner was lovely and was chatting to us. We all really enjoyed it and will definitely return.

As a South African, it was good to enjoy some home delights. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a great vibe. The malva pudding tasted of home and was the best way to end the night
