As a South African, it was good to enjoy some home delights. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a great vibe. The malva pudding tasted of home and was the best way to end the night

Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreAmazing food and cosy atmosphere
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreBooked last minute before a show and were so glad we got in. Great atmosphere as was show night. I only had a pizza, it was cooked to perfection, lightly fire and was amazing. They gave us a set menu without asking, if you just ask to swap as we only wanted 1 course. They only complaint I have was the £12 for a glass of rose, that just doesn't sit right with me, I even called to check we hadn't been charged for a bottle!!!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreThe best meal out! Great atmosphere, food and service. Definitely going back!
Chakalaka – Manchester City Centre5 of us dined her before seeing a show at the theatre and from arriving to leaving everything was perfect. Lovely staff and the meals were all amazing. Will definitely be visiting again in the near future and would highly recommend.

Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThis was my first time and it didn’t disappoint. The food was really tasty and the value for money was great. Definitely book a table as they were pretty busy, which isn’t surprising.

Giorgios – Manchester City CentreSensational food, top service, good atmosphere, tasty choice of beers, what more could you want. Great meal out with a group of friends.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreChakalaka is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Manchester! The atmosphere, service, food, and drinks were all outstanding. Their January deals made our meal ridiculously good value as well! When you walk in the whole place smells amazing and I love the fact it's totally independent. I had never tried South African food before but it was absolutely delish!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreThe food, service and vibe was great. Will come again
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreI had a fab dinner at Gio last Sunday 8 January for celebrating my wife's birthday with my little daughter. Customer service and food were both great. I was so impressed with the special decoration on our desert dish, which was served with a candle, to our surprise. Thank you the Gio team.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreVery nice restaurant, good food, good vibes nice drinks
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreEnjoyed a lovely meal with my 2 children and my parents. Portion sizes are generous - there were multiple boxes of leftovers taken home! Whilst there is no specific children’s menu, smaller servings of dishes are available. Toilet facilities are downstairs and could do with some more attention - the door to one of the cubicles did not shut properly, the hand dryer was not working and the paper towel ran out. Service was slow to take our order, but quite attentive thereafter; the chap on the bar in the corner is quite on the ball. It’s been over 10 years since I last visited Giorgio’s and it it certainly pricier than I remember, or maybe that city centre dining these days.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreHad a meal here on the 23rd December and although it was quite busy the food and service was excellent. Very friendly staff and Manager. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning.
