Charming little restaurant. Lovely staff and lovely food at a decent price, what more could you want.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff, cocktails were really good and the food was delicious. Couldn’t fault it! Felt like I was back in Cape Town for the evening.

Arnero has some really amazing indian food. Perfectly sized portions and super tasty with really good service from the staff.

Excellent and friendly service. They atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. Food was delicious and good potion sizes. The pre-theatre menu is great value for money and there is a good choice of dishes. There is a good range of drinks on the menu too. Will definitely visit again.

Great food at Arnero. Proper India fayre. Never had a bad meal!

Had a lovely meal here, cheerful, friendly staff. Served very quickly and very hot (the only way to serve hot food). Only downside for me were the drinks which were a bit pricey, even for the centre of Manchester.

Wonderful restaurant, great service, fantastic atmosphere. My first time but won't be my last. We had the pre theatre menu which was £22.50 for two courses (starter and main). everything was delicious and the wine menu was also extensive.

Fantastic seafood risotto! Definitely will be going back here next time im in machester!

We really enjoyed our first dining experience at Chakalaka. The cocktails were really good and food even better!

This was our first time trying South African food and we really, really enjoyed it. The whole meal was delicious and the staff were very lovely and attentive without being overbearing. Our reservation was pretty early, so we got to enjoy the place whilst quite quiet and left as it started to get busy, and there was a good vibe throughout. We'd definitely come back to Chakalaka for more, it's a great spot for some lovely food that's not your usual spread.

I enjoyed it but I would say that the banquet for 2 is more a banquet for 3. The dishes were nice and tasty. Big portions that are great for sharing. The vegetarian menu had a good selection of options. The restaurant was nice and had a good atmospheres. I would eat there again to try more from the menu. The service could be more friendlier

My favourite restaurant in Manchester- go here at least twice a week when in the city and have eaten most things on the menu. On this occasion went with 5 colleagues for their first time and they all loved it too. Generous portions of fantastic, authentic food which is just that bit different from what you might expect. A great recommendation is that so many customers are from the Slavic countries. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff make you feel most welcome. Great selection of Eastern European beers and Armenian and Georgian wines. Highly recommended!!

A lovely meal, great atmosphere and staff very friendly. This was our second visit and I am certain there will be a third.
