We went here Friday night 30th July as our daughter had booked it for us asa treat, it was above outstanding the service from walking in to walking out was top notch nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious fresh hot absolutely gorgeous. It was that good we returned on Saturday dinner time to again outstanding service and quality food highly recommend, and when in Manchester again we will be re visiting x

Like the fact you can get smaller portions. The best Italian we have been to, the food was superb and staff so friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

We are so glad New Mills has a really good restaurant at last! Visited on a Saturday for late lunch and had a really lovely, relaxed and delicious meal. The atmosphere at that time of was quite informal and family-friendly and the staff were all warm and attentive. We had a pasta special with swordfish, charcoal grilled wild pig pork chop, and chicken with the potato and the aubergine sides and the pasta with sardines, raisins and pinenuts etc. Everything got a thumbs up and made us want to come back and try other options! Presentation of the dishes was attractive and being able to take a tray of mini deserts home was a great touch! You can tell that everything is made fresh on site, pasta, deserts, bread etc. It would be rude not to finish with a cannolo! A Tavola isn't cheap - but it's good value for money because it's worth every penny! Yum.

My Girlfriend and I went here this past weekend. I had the tuna pizza and she had the spinach pasta. It was Incredible. My gf even went to say it could be one of the best pasta dishes she's ever tasted. Great staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend going whenever anyone gets a chance!

This is a lovely place . Food and service is excellent Owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend the Armenian.

Really enjoyed our food , nachos are to die for ! Garlic bread with cheese is two wraps not a pizza ,but still very tasty ,We chose few different small dishes from the starter menu and enjoyed all , Lovely cocktails (tryed quite a few ) service great , the girls checked in made sure everything was ok , didnt wait long for food or drinks on a busy Saturday afternoon , would definitely recommend a visit, we will be back soon !!

A Tavola is a true gem. Situated in the town of New Mills A Tavola is in what was a n old pub. It has been lovingly restored to create a warm and welcoming restaurant with two pretty outdoor areas to dine in also. When visiting here we feel like we’re away from it all, on holiday. The food is wonderful offering true Sicilian dishes. Home made pasta, arancini, gelato with so many interesting quality ingredients many of which are sourced from Sicily but also fresh ingredients sourced from the local area too. Fantastic wine list and an array of unusual Sicilian soft drinks and aperitivi. The staff are friendly and attentive and really knowledgeable of the menu . Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant for a taste of Sicily in the Peak District.

First time dining here and I'll definitely be returning. The food was delicious, we had 3 courses! The cocktails were amazing, especially the peaches and cream. The staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is chilled. It's got that nice holiday vibe to it. Really can't fault it.

Gorgeous food. You leave feeling as full as a bulls bum! Cocktails are so nice too. The nicest nachos I've ever had and can tell its all fresh.

Yum yum yum. My partner and I visited for the first time last week and enjoyed the food and drinks available in the quaint and intimate outdoor space at the back. We were so impressed we returned the following week with 2 friends. Service is attentive and staff are happy to help. All servers are so friendly and the service is a breath of fresh air. My favourite course is definitely the desserts, we are planning to return soon to have a coffee and dessert on the next sunny day.
