Tip top restaurant! Great food and service
Fresca – SaddleworthA warm welcome and a very comfortable stay guaranteed. Highly recommended. Could do with Wi-Fi though.
Waggon Inn – Saddleworthcalled in for a drink . The mens toilets are disgusting dirty no lock , hate to think what kitchen is like ! blacked tiled bar just doesnt work other than to create a sound around echo chameber. stayaway for locals only
The Farrars Arms – SaddleworthStayed two nights, both perfect - clean comfortable room with plenty of space. Perfect breakfast in a warm friendly atmosphere. Perfect host and staff, nothing too much trouble. Thank you and hope to see you again.
Waggon Inn – SaddleworthExcellent pub restaurant with the best fish and chips in the north. Great landlord and staff. Great hospitality well done!
Waggon Inn – SaddleworthStayed for one night; wished it was for longer. Fantastic place to stay, great room, beautiful bathroom, lovely breakfast, extremely congenial hosts. Great place to be in Saddleworth. Thanks guys!
Waggon Inn – SaddleworthMy husband and I stayed for one night at The Waggon Inn recently. The room was very clean and bright, fairly spacious and had everything you need (although you might want to specify a room with a bath as opposed to just a shower). Although we didn't have a meal there as we were meeting up with friends in the village, we enjoyed our breakfast - in particular the good quality bacon and sausages - and the restaurant is attractively decorated. The owner, Adrian, is really friendly and welcoming - the perfect person to be in charge of a pub. If the public rooms were as nicely decoarted as the restaurant and the bedroom (they are fairly basic), The Waggon Inn would be even better than it already is!
Waggon Inn – SaddleworthAnother excellent meal at the Wagon. Great value and excellent service.
Waggon Inn – SaddleworthWe stayed at the wagon inn recently, and what a lovely surprise. The room was great, the owners very friendly and the food was fantastic. We ate there several times during our 5 day stay for lunch and dinner, and the food was top notch each time. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommended.
Waggon Inn – SaddleworthVisited the area on business for a couple of weeks and happened to stumble upon the waggon looking for a place to eat. As soon as you walk through the door you are treated like a local by the friendly and attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble. I have eaten here about five times now, each time i tried something different from the menu,I haven't been disappointed yet.The food was freshly made, piping hot and delicious. Say no more :-)
Waggon Inn – Saddleworthi had my lunch here today and was so impressed by the service and food i felt i had to let others know. extremely friendly and helpful landlord. i will be back. the town is worth a visit too.
Waggon Inn – SaddleworthSimply brilliant and that is just the menu. Everything about this quaint little pub is fantastic from the friendly husband & wife team who own it to the spacious and very cosy bedrooms. Well worth visiting if you like beautiful scenery as a background to an enjoyable walk or ramble. And Holmfirth, where the BBC series, Last of the Summer Wine was made, is within easy reach.
Waggon Inn – SaddleworthI came down to your restaurant in Delph with my girlfriend on Monday. I just wanted to say thank you again for a great evening. The food was amazing, the restaurant is very nice to sit in, and our waitress was first class! - even the toilets are great! (love the auto taps) We will definitely be back soon to sample more of your menu.
Fresca – SaddleworthThe beer is very overpriced. The Black sheep was off, exchanged without fuss by polite barman. The greeter, (landlord?) was not at all welcoming. We did not eat.
Rams Head Inn – SaddleworthThis is the usual Anglo/Asian fare. It lacks passion, flavour and quality. The majority of it is just warmed up and every dish is swimming in ghee. Same old same old.
Shalimar The – SaddleworthWow! I've just enjoyed the most delicious sea bass ever! At Fresca, Saddleworth, the sea bass, with equally tasty tiger prawns, and served with a side dish of colourful fresh vegetables was a sheer delight. The Restaurant is modern, atmosphere buzzing and happy, and the staff are friendly but professional. And the Chef? What can I say? Fantastic!
Fresca – SaddleworthWow!! I've just enjoyed the most delicious sea bass ever! Fresca sea bass, served with tiger prawns that were equally fresh and tasty, served with a side dish of vegetables (because I didn't want potatoes - trying to cut the carbs, you know) was superb. The restaurant has a happy, buzzing atmosphere, friendly but professional staff, and obviously a fantastic chef! A "must-go-again"!
Fresca – SaddleworthHave been many times never disappointed, quality food thats always fresh, staff friendly & helpful, modern style inside sets it off fantastic although outside looks unusual but don't let it put you off well worth a visit
