Ruba – TeddingtonFantastic restaurant, fantastic and affordable food! Highly recommended, 5*!
Mozzafellas – EdgwareHorrible place to eat and sooo overpriced. Dogs around the place. Never again would I go there.
Nostrano Lounge – StainesWe went to Frankie's and Bennies yesterday..quiet, just 2 tables wth customers, not busy at all...we were seated and gosh have to wait so long for the attention. We went to the desk and said..are you short of staff..we are to help! Then a Menu was given...we put our hand up again..as we are ready to order. Then we ordered the drinks..have to wait again but it came! Order was taken and food came...no Risotto either..off menu the Waiter said...long wait..and the order came..Pasta came..hot but very bland...rib was dry..well summing up it is better to eat in the open market on Wed, Fri, Sat...at Staines High Street..tasty food, service with a smile, value for money, and no waiting just queue..and choose table or takeaway and a eat where you fancy! Suit busy life ! Frankie's n Ben...then they take your money no goodbyes, no thank you either! Short of Staff..1 Staff doing everything when we were there! Appalling...waste of time and money...!!
Frankie & Bennys – StainesCame two weeks ago with my wife loved the whole fish curry lol actually the whole fish is served great stuff staff very nice really enjoyed the music not the norm for an Asian place or what I grew up with with my family im Asian couldn't believe it when I heard Bon Jovi come in you will love it great atmosphere great food just loved it.
Krishna Restaurant – HayesThis pub pretends to be a family pub. As a family that lives near it I can tell you it is not. Please help local residents by spending your money elsewhere. The food is overpriced and poor quality. The wine list is terrible and the service is beyond incompetent. Worst of all this pub attracts a very unsavory crowd in the evenings. Almost every night of the week there are drunk aggressive people congregating in our road (The Angler is on a residential street). In addition to the constant social disorder, our properties are regularly trespassed on. I have been personally threatened on numerous occasions for asking people to leave. I have had bottles thrown at me and my home, my down drains broken, and my exterior walls vandalised. The police and council have had to respond to calls on so many occasions I've lost track, but the most recent one was a few days ago. The pub has point blank said it doesn't care that it's ruining our neighbourhood and refuses to do anything to improve the situation. If you want a gastropub experience, go to The Kings Head on Teddington High Street. The food, wine and service are amazing. If you want food with a river view, go to The Wharf on Manor Road, beautiful restaurant with amazing food and wine over looking the river. They also have a bar for events. If you want to have a pint / relaxed drink at a riverside pub and traditional pub food, go to the Tide End Cottage. They recently renovated, have a great pub food menu, good wines and GreeneKing beers. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the manager makes sure there are no incidents for local residents.
The Anglers – TeddingtonWe booked this place to celebrate a leaving do of one of our office staff and went in with a group of 13 people. The service and the food was just first class. They serve the best Japanese and Thai curries with freshly made starters and amazing sushi platters. The Thai green curry and Pad Thai were just brilliant. Nice selection of wines too. We will surely be back again and can totally recommend this place. Great food for a very reasonable price. We went on a Thursday and the place was still busy. Much needed in the area.
Inso Pan Asian Cuisine – NorthwoodThis pub is rubbish! Clientele are chavs! I went there at lunch time the pub was dead, I went there in the evening the pub was dead! There was no proper pub food being served! One day I went there and there were loads of pikeys in there I guess the guy running the pub got so desperate to make money that he invited them down. it does make you wonder why the pub landlord stayed there for so long even though the pub was making peanuts! its a shame it used to be a nice place but all the decent people have left. i did notice that I saw a few of the local residents still living there which was nice to see. it will probably just be closed down soon and used just as a HMO for rental income.
Grand Junction Arms – SouthallWe use the Anglers at least once a month, recently with friends. Always very satisfied.
The Retreat – StainesA NIGHT TO REMEMBER…We have been to many Indian restaurants in west London but this is in a different league from others. 1st the parking was easy and free right outside the restaurant and its not fine dining so you may bring your hard drinks from outside and they don’t charge for that. 2nd they make everything fresh So allow little bit extra time but is worth the wait, 3rd the food is outstanding ,absolutely delicious and presented well, Flavours were unbelievable. 4th were made comfortable. Everything was sensational, right from the lamps, decor, background Art work, the surprise dance and free WiFi 5th The evening started with some beer s which we took with us The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, It seemed like each new dish that was brought to the table was better than the previous! starters were great and main dinner with the seafood King prawn masala, butter chicken and Achari Augergine with garlic naan
Raunka Punjab Diyan – SouthallMe and my family are regulars at Arthur's, and it is always perfect. The location on the green is beautiful, and handy for when you have fidgety children! We go for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and its always just great. The menus are all really varied and creative - everything is homemade and you can really tell the extra effort has gone into it all. the waitresses are all really friendly and attentive and you can tell they really enjoy working there. film nights are a must!!!
Arthurs on The Green – TwickenhamMy grandad takes me for lunch every friday! The food is always great and we always leave full! The price is great and the food is always hot and lovely and we always go back! Thank you Joy Chinese.
Joy Buffet – EnfieldVisited the Windermere Pub recently, and what a change. What used to be an unused part of the pub, is now a popular watering hole. Looking forward to my next visit to London.
The Windermere – WembleyI went to the restaurant one day after Diwali with my family in Oct 2014. Though the food was alright, the prices were tempered with with pen- old prices blocked out with black ink and replaced with hand written inflated prices on almost every item. When I enquired I was told that 'this is special Diwali menu'! But there was nothing new on the menu except for the prices! What about then- added atmosphere for Diwali! It actually seems quieter than the first time I had visited the restaurant. Whatever their deal, they should have been up-front and honest about it, eg when booking was made on the phone and do it more professionally than scribbling on the menu. I paid at least 25 more and did feel cheated, especially when did not get any thing extra except for bill.
Raunka Punjab Diyan – SouthallExcellent food
Club 182 Bar and Restaurant – WembleyExcellent service. Good tasty food but no wine or alcohol, you can bring your drinks.
Ahjee Bhajee – PinnerHow can this place justified charging me over 7 pounds for 2 toast 2 eggs a tiny amount of beans and a cup of tea? This place is disgraceful, the service was not the best and the amount I got charged was shameful.
Cafe Restaurante Moniz – HounslowDropped in Tuesday 19th Aug @ 6pm for small bag of chips. Owner was frying fish and said that he'd be a minute as he was frying fresh chips. Waited about 5 mins then he asked his assistant to serve me. When I reached home the chips were rock hard and anything but fresh, must have been left over from lunch. Never coming back here again, AVOID
