Great food and service what more could you ask for

Made the trip up from Darlington with the in-laws who wanted a decent kebab. We weren’t disappointed. Great chicken and amazing value at £9.99 for two courses. The place was busy and buzzing because it was Rugby League Magic Weekend, but there were loads of staff to look after everyone

Perfect. Food was delicious, service was excellent. Excellent value for money. We love eating here every time we visit Newcastle. Highly recommend.

Great food, meze platter is outstanding. Atmosphere is always welcoming and vibrant, staff greet you with a smile. Not to mention great value for money keeps us coming back to the best Greek place in Newcastle. Keep up the good work.

Great place, clean, stuff are very helpful and food is delicious! Love the greek wine and the music, greek souvlaki is a big portion and pates are quite generous, goong back for sure thanks

We had a really nice meal here and I would highly recommend Red Mezze. Staff were great and friendly and good was really nice. Marked down though as they had a couple of menu options missing from the menu that you traditionally get at most Turkish/Med restaurants like Tahini, Garlic Mushrooms, etc.

Visited after attending rugby event at St James Park. Food was gorgeous and staff were very pleasant and friendly. Service was very prompt. Would definitely visit again. Attended 3 June 2023.

Amazing food and service would certainly recommend

What an amazing meal we had at Kafeneon .Having heard really good things about this restaurant we decided to give it a try .This has to be the best greek food outside of Greece that we have ever eaten !!!! We will definitely be eating here again in the near future .

We enjoyed a fantastic 3 course meal on 31st May. Menu choice was very expansive and we were most impressed! Staff very attentive and the environment so welcoming. No hesitation in eating here again. Thank you.

Fabulous restaurant in the heart of gorgeous Newcastle! The food is sooo good you feel like you are in Greece! Great service and friendly staff too.. always look forward to our visits in this lovely little spot!

Other than a rude comment from a member of staff I can’t fault the place. I’ve been a few times now and it’s got to be the nicest food I’ve ever had. I’ve tried most things and they’re all delicious!!

Visited on Bank Holiday Monday and chose from the lunch menu. 2 courses for £9.99. Food was amazing and staff were lovely, we were blown away by the price for such lovely food. This is our second visit in 3 weeks and we will be back for more, our new go to place

Great food great service disappointed in lack of alcohol free or low alcohol drinks but otherwise throughly enjoyed my time there
