We visited the Landmark for the first time on Saturday night and were hugely impressed, the restaurant its self is very nice with a contemporary feel to it , the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, but it’s the food that is the star of the show really tasty excellent quality we could not fault it. We would highly recommend Landmark and look forward to our next visit

Visited Kafeneon on a very warm evening and despite being extremely busy with customers queuing, the staff still managed to find us an outside table. Our order was taken within minutes of sitting and our drinks arrived shortly after. The food followed on very promptly. Loved it. Food was delicious and staff very helpful, smiles all round. This is a well presented authentic greek restaurant with great food and hard working pleasing staff. Wholly recommend the Kafeneon and thank you to the staff for making our anniversary dinner so enjoyable.

Food and service were first class. We were a big group of 10 even so we were looked after and served in good time. Everyone loved their food and we would definitely recommend and go again

For a long time this has been our favourite Chinese/Cantonese restaurant. We visited on a busy Saturday evening (Newcastle playing at home) and the welcome from Andrew, the service all evening and the food were as good as ever. We will be back!

It's was really busy when we arrived for our booking. But we were seated promptly and service was quick and efficient without feeling rushed. Food and drinks were delicious. We all had the Restaurant week menu which had a great choice and was amazing value at £15 for 2 courses. Would highly recommend a visit regardless of any memu offers. Do book though to avoid disappointment. We will definitely pop back next time we are in Newcastle.

I’ve been to the restaurant several times in the past and always enjoyed the experience. This time was with a party of six. We were there during restaurant week and for some it was their first time. We all ordered something different from the menu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we shared a taste of each others meals. All in all an excellent night out. Great food, great staff and a cracking place to eat.

Could not fault the food, it was absolutely gorgeous, my husband and i had the mixed meze for 2,we thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll definitely be back next time we are in Newcastle

Fabulous lunch at Kafeneon with my friend yesterday.It was restaurant week so we booked a table which was upstairs . The waitress looking after us was 1st class so helpful and friendly . We chose from the special menu - we shared a starter of dips and breads and to follow we ordered the pastichio and chicken souvlaki- I did ask if I could order a side of fried zucchini’s but they weren’t on the menu . Our waitress came back with our wine and said the chef was going to serve fried zucchini’s instead of chips with the souvlaki- I thought that was so lovely . My friend and I shared the main courses and both were delicious especially the zucchini’s . The plan was to share a starter of dips, and a dessert but we were so full we couldn’t manage another thing . I just love this place I have been going since it opened many years ago when it was part of the original Simply Greek restaurant all owned and run by same Greek family . The food is the best Greek food outside of Greece in fact I would say it’s better than many places I’ve eaten in Greece in recent years as lots of places cater to tourists over there sadly . Kafeneon is for me the best restaurant in Newcastle by a mile ! Thankyou !
