Lovely meal at Kafeneon again for my birthday. Nice atmosphere, staff and food was tasty and plentiful.

Visiting Newcastle on a long weekend. We been missing our regular visits to Greece. We found Kafeneon made an excellent substitute with very authentic Greek cuisine at a decent price. We also enjoyed the Cypriot St Panteleimon wine with our delicious meze for 2. EXCELLENT.

Best Tapas in Newcastle! This was our second visit and hope to go again when visiting our son. Food was absolutely delicious and service was very friendly!

Despite its longevity in the city this was my first visit to Kafeneon and I was NOT disappointed. A friendly team, cosy informal room, good food which was served in ample portions. We chose from the two courses for £15.95 special menu which was great value.

The food in KafeNeon is absolutely 5 star, we had the Mezze for two people and it was more than enough, very generous portions. The staff are so friendly and eager to help in any way, we travel for over an hour for this gorgeous food and we will continue to make it our go to place, when in Newcastle.

Food is excellent We could of just ordered two starters and left it at that. The portions were massive Very friendly attentive service This is now our favourite restaurant when in town .

We went here for Valentine's Day and we were very impressed. We had the Mezze and all of the dishes were superb, especially the Stifado and the Moussaka. The homemade Houmus was some of the best we had ever had and must be tried. Put that together with great staff and service, and we will be going back the next time we are in Newcastle.

I visit Newcastle often and every time I book a trip, the first place I book a table is at Kafeneon. The food is delicious, portions are very generous, staff are helpful and friendly and the prices are really reasonable for a city centre restaurant.

Having travelled throughout the UK, I have to say that Landmark is my favourite Chinese restaurant in the UK No trip to Newcastle is without the obligatory visit. This Saturday was no exception. Booked a few days in advance, online, is recommended & easy to do. It was incredibly busy as expected for a valentine's, half term date. The service was impeccable. Food amazing and a wonderful visit again. I would highly recommend.

Always love coming here. The food is gorgeous, cocktails are delicious and the overall feel of the place is genuinely like being in a greek taverna. This will always be my go to place for any occasion

My wife and I were down in Newcastle for an overnighter to take our young daughter snd friend to a concert. We passed this place after we dropped them off and the menu looked good so we gave it a go. We were not disappointed. 0utstanding food and great service in a very pretty restaurant. We were downstairs where walls have been tastefully painted with inviting scenes from Greek islands to add to the ambience. We had the full meze taster option for 2 and all 7 dishes were sumptuous. Possibly best Greek food we’ve tasted in UK.
