Gorgeous tasty food as usual at Kafeneon. Never been disappointed, good portions for those with larger appetites too. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I visit Kafeneon in Newcastle yesterday for lunch with my sister and friend The service was amazing, the food was delicious, overall a perfect lunch, The restaurant was very busy, the staff were very attentive and so friendly I will definitely visit again and I will recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends

Kafeneon recommended by a friend who is a regular visitor to Newcastle. Had the sharing maze platter which was vast, very tasty, along with a plate of the chips Hellas, again a very generous portion. If/when I’m ever back in Newcastle, would certainly visit again. Staff very pleasant and attentive without asking if everything ok every 5 minutes. Happy to recommend Kafeneon.

We visited as a group of 19 last Saturday. Kelly who dealt with our booking couldn't have been more helpful or efficient. Our food was absolutely gorgeous as is the norm for Kafeneon and the service was faultless. Our waitress made paying for the bill so easy by taking payment individually instead of the usual nightmare of working out who owes what. I'm a bit of a Kafeneon fan but even the people in our group who had never been before all said they'd definitely be back. Perfect from start to finish.

We had a beautiful meal at Kafeneon yesterday we visited with my Sister & Brother in law. We all enjoyed our food.,The meal was yummy the atmosphere in the restaurant was excellent. Our service from Izzy was excellent she was very attentive and helpful. Couldn’t fault a thing. We have been before but my sister in law hasn’t but she said she would definitely return .

My grandparents love Greece but are unable to travel there anymore due to health. For their 60th wedding anniversary, I wanted to give them a taste of Greece to celebrate. The meal was amazing, my grandparents kept saying it was authentic and they loved it. They appreciated that we were sat a little out of the way from bigger parties which meant my grandad with hearing aids could actually hear us all which was brilliant. We were well attended, the staff were lovely and made my grandparents feel special about the celebration and the staff were very generous and looked after us very well. My grandparents dont come up to Newcastle often but they were talking about travelling back up from Yorkshire just to go to Kafeneon (i hope to see me as well) Thank you for making the event special

Another excellent, great value for lunch at KafeNeon. This is the go to Greek restaurant in Newcastle and highly advisable to book a table due to its success. The service and atmosphere is great and we always take our 9 year old son who says its the best place to eat! We will be back soon.

We were the first customers in, on a Wednesday evening, arriving at about 530pm. The food and service was exceptional as always. A trip to Newcastle is not complete without a visit to Landmark Oriental. Highly recommended. Superb food and excellent staff!

As always the meal was spectacular, the service was second to none and the ambiance and atmosphere superb, what more could you want. Every time we come we just know it is going to be first class and we are never disappointed.

The lunch menu was excellent value for money. The staff were efficient and hard working. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The atmosphere made us feel like we were on holiday in Greece..

My husband needed to stick to a particular diet for a few days. We were meeting old friends who were just visiting so we could not postpone . I contacted Boquerones a few days before and they very kindly adapted their usual menu. My husband was able to enjoy a delicious meal with our friends. We are very impressed with how helpful the whole team were and how lovely the food was.
