Beautiful food and friendly staff, will definitely return again. The only minor negative was we were unable to converse due to the noise level in the lower ground seating area. However, it was both St Patrick's day and a Newcastle match was on. So everywhere in town was busier than usual.

I visited Kafeneon Newcastle last night with my husband and two friends. It was the first visit for all of us. From the outset we were warmly greeted by staff, into a warm restaurant, and shown to a table downstairs. We had starters and mains and every dish was delicious. We were very impressed, and will return! :-)

Two course lunches for me and my friend and wine, perfect!

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was excellent, but the portions were huge. Although we have good appetites, we could not finish the meals. Much smaller portions would still have been great and we wouldn't have felt defeated at the end of the meal. The table beside us took away 3 boxes of leftovers!!

Beautiful meal as always! Such polite, friendly and welcoming staff.

Fabulously tasty food. Large portions. The beef Stifado is the best I have tasted. It’s so hard not to be tempted by all the lovely starters too but that means you could miss out on the delicious desserts and cocktails. Great friendly service makes Kafeneon our firm favourite place to eat .

Took my mother for a Mother’s Day treat. We were blown away by the quality of the food and friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon

Lovely meal. Took my wife and two children 8 & 6), all had a great time and finished our plates. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Good range, only maybe lacking a children's menu but the food was delicious. Will be back again

First visit, certainly won't be my last, great food, helpful staff, prices spot on!
