Another lovely evening at Red Mezze. The food is well presented and tastes lovely. The complimentary dessert finished the evening off nicely. Lovely food at a very good price. Probably the most value for money restaurant in Newcastle. The restaurant was really busy so I would suggest booking a table online.

First visit to KafeNeon whilst visiting g our daughter who lives in Newcastle. Wow, food was delicious, staff delightful and the atmosphere was great. The best Greek food I’ve had outside of Greece! We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Had lunch with my husband and son (10yr) and we all really enjoyed it. Everything we ordered was lovely and the service and staff were great. Very friendly and quick service. I ordered from the lunch specials as it included the meal I had wanted and the price was great. My husband and son ordered their 3 courses from the main menu and everything we had was delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

The cheeky Gyros is lovely and you get loads on your plate. The Musaka was unfortunately lacking in taste and very stodgy. The Gyros wrap was ok but could do with a bit of salad or some Homus on the side as could the Halloumi wrap The service was excellent, lovely friendly staff. Nearly £7 for a pint of Peroni is a rip off. This is now just an ok Greek cafe style restaurant, compared to the fantastic old authentic Greek restaurant that used to be Simply Greek Tavern

As always the restaurant had a great atmosphere and the food delicious, and brilliant at catering for my wife who is coeliac. But what really makes this our "go to" place in Newcastle is the impeccable and friendly service from your staff. It's always a pleasure to visit. Thank you.

Amazing food as always! One of my favourite places to go for food every time I'm in the city! Great value and fantastic customer service. Cannot fault a single thing!

Been to Kafeneon many times and never really been disappointed. Again service was excellent with house wine being a lovely choice. Only comment about food would be:- - Chicken Skewers were a little dry - Beef Stifado was a little over salted Otherwise everything was perfect

My favourite restaurant in Newcastle. Says it all really!

From the second we walked into Red Mezze the service was impeccable, very polite and more than willing to cater for our extra needs (booked a table for four but someone else turned up). We were given plenty of time read the rather full menus and decide on what we were going to eat. The food was served up really quickly and was of fantastic quality. The serving staff were very patient with us making a few little mistakes in the pronunciations of the meals and corrected us as we ordered. I was so impressed I'm definitely going back to try more of their dishes. Well don folks and thanks for a lovely meal.

Love this restaurant, fab service from Asif, food was amazing, so much choice and everything we had was tasty and cooked to perfection, can’t wait to come back and try more of the tapas, also shiit out for the cherry amaretto sorbet *chef kiss!
